Liverpool Away, our kid.

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Very true. Our kid is def Manc. Scouse would be "eh lad" or "eh lid".
But as my lovely mrs is a scouser she normally settles for just calling me a cockney wanker

Was thinking the same. Just as we did with Man U you can rely on Arsene's away day bottlejobs to kick start another rival's season

But Liverdippers were a defensive shambles against Utd; and if they are persisting with Brad Jones in goal and Sterling (who looks like a he's being controlled by a puppeteer) up front, then we have a good chance I reckon.

The revival continues and One Arsene Wenger to reverberate around Anfield.

I hear that for beating Newcastle, 7 days after playing the worse 45 minutes of football for any club this season, our glorious leader has given the squad a 3 day pass.
I will bet the Scousers will be in training every day this week, with specific training on our weaknesses.
Any coach worth his salary would have had the team in this morning going through a tape of Liverpool's defeat, and highlighting where we could exploit them.

My understanding is that whilst the manc use the generic "our kid" for every stupid cúnt they meet, the hubcap stealers use the first name version of "our" when addressing each other.

Or mugging people. :rubchin:

As in; "Alriiiiiight - gizz your wallet, our Barry!"

I bet Diaby is chuffed to get 3 days off, to go with the other 700+ he has had for the past 2 years.

I remember everyone saying the same when ManUre came to town (and the year before when we went there)

Heysil airbrushers 1 The Woolwich Arsenal 3.

The away pub team will be at a distict advantage here, the local teams hubcaps are already off, so the wheels can come off that much faster.

The away team are currently sampling their new brew "Merte I need Koswithme" in order to develop a better head and a faster runaway time . The keeper is practising handling skills without naturally smirking, and the team physio and medical support are allegedly under the table already after a recent report identifying that they couldn't even shove a halfpenny let alone cure any ills.

While the away team managers rose garden is up and flowering despite one or 2 unpleasant recent banner sprayers the home team allegedly are searching for a new landlord, having sold the main taster in the close season.

Many away team followers will be waiting in the bar at the station for a pint of screamyourheadoff.

"Our kid" is oft heard when Jack Charlton talks about Bobby Charlton.

But the Charltons are from Ashington, Northumberland.
Sort of Geordies.

I wonder if there are people born in Charlton with the surname "Ashington?"
