Weekend games 13/12

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Eriksen is by a country mile their best player, to be fair he is lethal from that sort of range.

You could see it coming mind, as awful as Spurs are Swansea have faded dreadfully

Good finish.

Although, God only knows why that defender decided not to kick it away first time. Ridiculous Clichy-esque brainfart.

hes facking average to good at best, that prick bartley arsing around with it should have cleared.

i facking hat them so much scummy shitty cu nts. kane motm, yeah team battered most of the game should have had 3 red cards and a bang averge striker whose scored about 2 league goals all season and the rest aginst lower league or cypriot subsistence farmers is motm.

facking c unts are so lucky, here , villa and hull, where they were dominated in both games and relied on oppo players getting sent off.

spoiled my weekend.

they are shit but they hink they are good thats the worst thing.

Think it was actually Jazz Richards who didn't clear his lines and Bartley who stood off and let Eriksen get the shot off.

And the wankathon over Harry Kane is predictable, he's industrious but bang average at best.

Bony should have had a hattrick in the first half. Watched it with Chippy Jnr's scummer mate, made it more painful. :(

Thought it was the worst United v Liverpool game quality wise in years. Passing from both sides was awful and while Liverpool did have a load of chances I thought at 1-0 down they looked beaten, more about a lack of belief than anything. Rodgers comments about Spuds wasting the Bale money and Van Gaal adapting to life in England are making him look very stupid now. Boxed above his weight last season with luck and momentum and thought he was a new Messiah.

In other news another goal for Carlos Vela. That's four in the three or four games under Moyes..

Saw a tweet from him to his brother last year making a joke about kicking Reyes out of English football in 2004. He reads the game and articulates his point very well but in the grand scheme of things he is a coward and a hypocrite who lacks perspective like the rest of them. I have seen him give brutal assessments about how soft Arsenal have become and how they knew in the United dressing room that they'd won the game before they'd set foot on the pitch - but a few wins and Wenger is doing a good job. He's bashed on about how you've got to spend money if you expect to win trophies and sign better players than we have, then after the St James' Park wankathon in 2013 he gave a passionate endorsement of the way in which Arsenal have run the club since 2006.

On another note I spoke to someone who took their kid to the Emirates as they apparently had a screening of the Galatasaray game there. Martin Keown was knocking around as a VIP - no wonder these ex-players toe the party line with all these cushy little jobs and access they get at the club.
