Re: The January Transfer Rumours Thread
SteveO could you please enlighten me as to whether defensive stability and sensible tactics will be coming???
Re: The January Transfer Rumours Thread
I couldn't give a toss whos linked with us and who may or may not be coming, until that useless tool Wenker leaves we wont achieve anything,he is incapable of organising and motivating players,we could sign messi and Ronaldo and still would only scrape 4th if lucky

Re: The January Transfer Rumours Thread
Regardless of who we sign mate, I can assure you that those two things definitely AREN'T comingnorthbank123 wrote:SteveO could you please enlighten me as to whether defensive stability and sensible tactics will be coming???

4. If we find the right player we will do a deal
Amazing how with our world scouting network, his personal 30 years plus experience (sorry he never mentioned it before so I thought I would bring it to everyone's attention) and working "day and night" we keep talking about "if we find the right player"
I didn't realise players hibernated for the winter

Is it just me or is the transfer speculation a lot more subdued for this window ? Its either that or I just don't care and pay no attention

Lovely little segment on F365 today that tells you all you need to know about this thread.
Pants On Fire
We all know the phrase 'silly season', but the Daily Express are doing their best to upgrade it to 'bloody stupid season'. With the transfer window opening in less than a fortnight, the paper's website are stopping fractionally short of making human sacrifices to the Gods of SEO.
Here, for your perusal and amusement, are the players linked to a few clubs by the Express since Thursday evening. It includes only players rumoured to be arriving, not leaving:
Manchester United (15) - Mats Hummels, Gareth Bale, Fabio Coentrao, Victor Valdes, Sergio Busquets, Kevin Strootman, Marco Reus, Gabriel Barbosa, Malcom Silva, Diego Godin, Stephan Lichtsteiner, Enzo Perez, Nicolas Gaitan, Lucas Silva and Paul Pogba.
Arsenal (16) - Moussa Sissoko, Nabil Fekir, Fabio Coentrao, Nemanja Vidic, Sergio Busquets, Lucas Silva, Marco Reus, Stephan El Shaarawy, Matt Targett, Sebastian Giovinco, Nikola Vlasic, Krystian Bielik, Marcelo Brozovic, Virgil van Dijk, Gabriel Barbosa and Malcolm Silva.
Liverpool (12): Gonzalo Higuain, Fabio Coentrao, Marco Reus, Stephan El Shaarawy, Matt Targett, Sebastian Giovinco, Victor Valdes, Divock Origi, Guillermo Ochoa, Xherdan Shaqiri, Christian Eriksen, Martin Montoya.
We don't need 'sources' to tell us it's bulls**t.

As long as we can get someone of the super quality of Sanogo or Kallstrom (preferably already injured ) all will be well.

2013/14 - nobody signed permanently, Kallstrom on loan
2012/13 - Monreal signed
2011/12 - Eisfeld signed, Henry on loan
2010/11 - Squillaci signed
Every stupid c u n t journalist from Cross to Olley predicting big things in the transfer window should take one long look at that fucking list of shame above it
