As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Of course, the tactical genius that is There's Only One didn't play him in an FA Cup SF against Chavski despite him being in a rich vein of form and cup tied in Europe.......still what would I know eh......30 years and all that
I seem to remember part of his warped logic being so that we could prove that we could win big games without him ahead of our CL semi return leg against United. Which made me feel a lot happier watching Adebayor sulk like a c unt in a Wembley semi final ahead of United handing out a two-legged dicking which at that point was probably the worst wed received.
The only amusing thing about the first leg defeat was that it provoked the whole 'Almunia for England' debate as he had undoubtedly his best game in the shirt. I just think it was everyone in Wales, Ireland and Scotland behind that particular debate !
German Kicker is reporting that Italian Corriere dello Sport is reporting that Poldolski is set for Inter Milan during winter break http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/bund ... markt.html Roberto Mancini called gain for the winter - and now gets perhaps equal a world champion: As the "Corriere dello Sport" on Christmas Eve today reported on the front page, is Lukas Podolski (29) immediately before a move to Inter Milan. Accordingly, there is a lending transaction with Arsenal in the room. According to the report is still open whether the Italians are obliged to take the left foot firmly under contract in the summer or get a simple option to purchase. In the first case, Inter did not want to pay more than six million euros in the second are eight million euros as a transfer fee in the room. Perhaps, it is said, is "Poldi" already on January 6 available when Inter, currently only eleventh, a guest at Serie A leaders Juventus Turin.
Better manager and in a more suitable formation, podolski would be a great player for us - shit manager and a shit system means that the guy is wasted with us BUT SHOULD ONLY BE SOLD and not loaned to anyone
Giroud and Podolski as a front two is Europa League stuff. Podolski might be a consistently effective player in a different formation but he's not good enough to justify a club our size building a team around. That's not to say that I support this incessant 4-5-1 or Wenger's preference of certain players.
