Nope. I'd always wanted us to get Bendtner and he was mint for us, never been too keen on Sanogo but we're badly lacking up front, he looked good against England u21s and has a good goalscoring record at previous clubs and youth international levels so might be worth a try, he must be better than Altidore!

Yes. just got up at 6 this evening after a very heavy session down Birmingham watching Sunderland get yet another 0-0 draw and barely have a shot at goal. Still think Sanogo would improve us

he must have something about him though, like i say he's got a cracking record elsewhere. No world beater but having spunked £10m on Rodwell we look unlikely to buy anyone. we've still got room for one loanee though and its a move that you'd think would suit all parties. We've scored 16 goals in 19 games, its not all the strikers fault but we're certainly not in the position to look down our noses at Sanogo.

Khedira is not a true DM and will not be forced into playing there - all hypothetical of course, but IF we signed him I dont expect our midfield to improve even the slightest
I suggested a few seasons ago, that wenker is UNABLE to see our shortcomings much less fix them - when you are being bullied and pushed around by a lot of opposition teams, the last thing you should do is buy two more midgets (ozil and sanchez) and instead should be looking for a big powerful enforcer type to win the ball for your playmakers and ensure that nobody pushed any of his team-mates around.......khedira fills neither of those roles

Khedira is considerably not the play I want us to sign.
We need top-notch tough ball winners in midfield, a top quality centre-back, plus in addition to these I would not say no to a cheapish utility midfielder/defender to beef up the squad.
But in Khedira I see a continuity style runner with a worrisome injury record.

I think Arsene Wenger's treatment of Lucas Podolski is criminal. After Aguerro and Suarez last season he was the most instinctive finisher in the Premier League. He , when given the chance, was played wide left where his instincts did not include covering the full back. I accept there may be question marks over his work rate but as a one touch/shot striker he is lethal. will hate to see him leave.
