Southampton away

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Looks like chambers in midfield, our internal transfer market providing our new DM

He wont be able to buy a quality DM in this window as well as buying the nailed on short arsed attacking midfielder and another striker to play on the wing

Utter joke of a side. Cue how we'll hear that Chambers played as a CM in their Academy.

Cazorla out wide away from home is a waste of time, he's a liability defensively and he just doesn't have the pace or guile to cause a problem out there. We can get away with it at home because when we're on top he'll just tuck inside all the time.

If they've got any nous at all they'll just play narrow and force everything out wide and then press our wide players hard.

Come on guys. Give the lad the benefit of the doubt.

We know for sure Clueless isn't going to sign a DM, so let's hope the lad can do well there.

I don't believe northbank is having a pop at young Chambers... more a pop at Wenger and the club for being left with no alternative than to play him in another new position because of last summers transfer dealings.
He will be another player who's potential will never be fulfilled due to you know who! :banghead:

Nobody is blaming Chambers for being picked out of position , just the tool that picked him there. Nightmare for him if it goes wrong playing against his old club.

Coquelin and Chambers shoring up the spine of the midfield. I'm fucking glad we left our shitty little ground behind to live this dream
