Stevie

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Stevie

Post by Bradywasking »

We are knee deep in cliches today with pundits and players alike trying to outdo each other in praise of Stevie Me....The one I am most looking forward to is "We almost signed him you know ...."
Wouldn't it be funny if he went to the USA came back on loan to City and won the title..

The coverage of this Bin Dipper leaving the Victims is O.T.T. even for Sky!
This "servant" of the place, has made millions playing for them, nearly went to Chavski to make even more dosh,(until he bottled it),and is now jumping ship to play abroad for......yes, even more dosh!
:banghead: :cussing: :blah: :blah: :blah:

I always believed Rafa was happy for him to go but when Stevie bottled it Rafa had to go with public opinion .

Best cliche today " Sprinkling of stardust " Phil Thompson

My personal highlight was some mong on the radio who claimed that he's "honest, doesn't dive or feign injury". Have these people even seen him play?

Wherever he goes now at least he knows no one will argue with him over the choice of music in the changing room.

Always thought he was an overrated, egotistical prick.
He did, however, provide one of the highlights, of the last decade of football for me....that slip. :D :D :D
Fucking priceless. Glad he's never won the league...and it's even sweeter that is was his fuck up that cost him his only real chance of doing so.
Good riddance.

Bet the bin dippers are buying black armbands by the bucket load. This season of shit has just got longer as we will have to put up with them cracking one off over him for next 5 months.

A good player who has been elevated above his station due to a chronic lack of decent English players in the late 80s/early 90s.

Move along.

Good player but always in the shadow of Paul Scholes(Zidane and Henry's favourite player) and Lampard 200 goals from midfield FFS
