Sanchez is an absolute beast. He must laugh at how shite his supporting cast is...

As for Theo I'll repeat what I've said before: if any offer above £15m comes in for him, then I'll drive him to Heathrow myself. He's on £100k a week FFS and you're still never sure whether he will convert a simple one on one. 8 years after he joined
you normally talk quite a bit of sense but FFS if you hadn't noticed Theo has been out injured for a year so isn't at his sharpest, cut him some slack, some of the criticsm of our players is laughable,as for Campbell he single handedly raped UTD in the CL last season for olympiakos, thats something the rest of the Arsenal squad collectively haven't done for years and years, and he isn't good enough, give him a run ffs before judging him,he cost peanuts not £50m
Must agree marky. Theo needs some games under his belt after a long injury and Campbell too could be useful but we'll never know if Wenger keeps playing the likes of Sanogoals ahead of him.

Sanchez - World class. Commentators often get silly and proclaim somebody an instinctive goalscorer if they score a 6-yard tap-in but that second goal is really instinctive striking. Made it look very simple and it's not exactly goal of the season material but only a few players are that sharp.

Coquelin - fucking hell what an idiot. Dreadful tackle he put in early on on Quinn and then one of the most ridiculous tackles I've ever seen to pick up a yellow. I don't rate the guy at all and I'd be happy if he left tomorrow but whatever happens he will never cut it if he makes so many needlessly conspicuous fouls.

Campbell - Carlos Vela mk II. It's like watching somebody trying to fuck with a flaccid cock - doff your cap to the effort but he's just not going to get it in.

Ospina - not hugely tested but impressive in the air and solid handling. For me should undoubtedly start from now on, but Wenger won't bench Szczesny. I'm not a fan of switching keepers willy nilly but Szczesny has been consistently poor for ages now and Ospina did well today, surely deserves a chance/

I'm fairly sure either Lineker or Shearer said at half time all Alexis really lacked was his finishing, tbh it doesn't seem too bad to me :D

I think he can still improve on that and his general passing. But apart from that, the man has it all.

It's amazing how you can pack so many great things in such a neat little package. #evolution.

Thought Santi was quietly effective again, didn't set the world alight obviously but his for has been very good overall recently.

You do have to wonder where we would be without Sanchez, he has to play every game as otherwise we would be struggling against pretty much everyone. It can only go on so long before he breaks down.

Apart from that idiotic tackle I thought Coquelin played quite well TBH, extra marks for telling that Hull player to "shut the fuck up", made me LOL. Also thought Campbell's performance showed a bit of promise, some flakey touches but when it's your first appearance for ages I'm a bit more forgiving, he also tracked back and tackled a bit. Theo was unlucky not to get a goal as well.

Good enough stuff. :)

Didn't really break sweat because we didn't have to. Pretty dull game but we're through, and I'm pretty sure I saw Mertesacker jump and score.

Agree. Campbell showed class in the CL and World Cup. He might well wonder why he has not had more game time this season. Form isn't like a switch, you need time to adjust especially when you aren't first choice.
