It is what it is - a comfortable if completely uninspiring victory. Tbh looking at how the other big teams have done Weve hardly fared badly, and as cliched as it is going through is all that really matters, although we could have done with resting Sanchez.

King Alexis refuses to be rested though.

Any win with all our injuries is welcome.
We'll have a few more players back for Stoke and we re going to have to rest Alexis soon.
We're fucked if he loses form due to overplaying him.

Where was you sat? Atmosphere was awful...mainly due to even more ott stewarding than usual. I'm in nb lower and was told to sit down twice.

Think people are being a bit harsh on Theo and Campbell.
Wally has pretty much had a year off and looked rusty.
I think Campbell showed some promise. He needs to get his head up and his distribution was woeful at times..but he has hardly played..This is why he should come off the bench more when games are sewn up (Admittedly sewn up games are getting rarer than rocking horse shit).

Block s upper tier, I thought the atmosphere around the ground was good. We played well today, and deserved the win.

Wonder why the atmosphere is shit? Hope the steward is done for assault.

As for Theo I'll repeat what I've said before: if any offer above £15m comes in for him, then I'll drive him to Heathrow myself. He's on £100k a week FFS and you're still never sure whether he will convert a simple one on one. 8 years after he joined
He's been a waste of space since day one. He doesn't tackle & tends to make crazy runs into dead ends making it impossible for a team mate to find him. He still can't beat a player one on one. The Ox did more in 10 minutes than he did all game. Please don't say he will improve - he wont. I like him on the bench - he looks good there !!. As for the game zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. :barscarf: :barscarf:

Lot of unfavourable comment about the stewards on Twitter tonight.
The game was relatively comfortable, Certainly more comfortable than Utd or City had today. Apart from his stupid lunge I thought Coquelin was ok, Theo's touch was poor but to be expected. the defence hadn't much to do but still afraid every time any opposition attack. Campbell , in my opinion, cannot be overly happy with his game. He did show well for the ball and had some good touches and moments , but I imagine he will have regrets on not making more of a rare chance.
Hope it's only a knock Ox picked up and nothing more serious. Thought he looked in pain before the obvious foul. Nothing to say about Sanchez that is not being said all season. We are blessed to have him.

Terribly dull game with Hull having way too much possession for an away team with basically their reserves out there.

Thought Coquelin was average at best, appalling at times. He is very similar to Captain Stupid Flamoney in that his positioning and reading of the game are poor - he doesn't know when to hold deep and when to push up and gets caught hovering ineffectively far too often in no mans land like Captain Stupid does. He only reacts (often too late) and doesn't anticipate, thus the propensity to lunge in with the stupid Hollywood flying tackles.

Campbell was ok at times and wasteful at others, but he hasn't had a decent run of games so jury is still out on him for me. Ditto Theo, he needs game time. But my memory of Theo all the other times he came back from injury is that it takes him fucking waaaay too many games to get back even half decent tbh... :|

Thought Rosicky was good at times, likes to drive at the oppo rather than piss about with 250 passes. Wenger must hate him.

Sanchez is different class. He could have played in our 98, 02 and 04 teams easily. No one else in our current squad could - apart from maybe Ozil. Sanchez must only be a game or two away from burn out or injury (with our luck and stupid manager) and when his season ends, so does ours.... :( :|

Just one question; who was that lanky fucker that scored our first by actually challenging for the ball in the air in the oppo box?  In fairness though the replays showed the Big Cowardly Pussy had his eyes closed and the ball hit him in the face.
