MAN CITY THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I fancy a 2-2 result today - sadly (cos I don't want the chavs to win the league) this isn't the same citeeh team as we have seen in recent years and I don't think that they play with the same tempo as previously, so I think the slower tempo will suit our pussies who can get blown away when teams get in their faces

Augie wish you would lay off the semi positive posts on a match day ,they seem to coincide with us losing

I'd start with chambers and ramsey in the middle, bellerin at RB, ox, giroud, sanchez and carzola front four and ospina in goal. Hit them from the start as if we sit back we'll know what will happen. We should've beaten them at home and we can beat them if we play our natural game. Of course, wenger doesn't always see it that way and he hardly exuded confidence at his press conference. I still believe we can get the 3 points, we scored three there last season and could've had 6 ourselves. I'm going 2-1 to the Arsenal. :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

Chambers in central midfield, away at City? Did you not see the S'oton game?

He's having a tough enough time of it as it is without throwing him under the bus away at Eastlands, and out of position too.

Yeah why can't you be more realistic like the rest of us and go for a right old bumholing - anything from 4 -1 to 7 - Nil.

:D

As has become the norm away to the big guns under L'Asshole I'm hoping for the best but fearing the worst. I remember in the good old days feeling unbelievably nervous before games like this but it's all a bit meh these days. Win, lose or draw and its not going to make a blind bit of difference to big picture.

Bellrin over Chambers? Wow. How Calum's career has gone down the shitter since the start of the season.

First thoughts? Bellerin and Monreal are gonna get murdered. Hope they prove me wrong.

Apparently he has been ill. :?

Aguero & Kompany return for City; having seen the teams I don't fancy this one much.

Is sosicky injured ? :?

It seems chambers has now gone from the great white hope whose early performances were so impressive that he got an international call up, to now being the guy that cant get his place ahead of a rookie Spanish kid that wasn't deemed good enough a few months  I know chambers has been exposed a bit of late but citeeh don't play with a pacy left winger so I would have been comfortable with chambers at right full
