MAN CITY THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

by compact, you mean 10 men behind the ball...

which is fair enough in a big game away, given our record

this is how we should play - using the pace of ox and alexis and the passing of caz as city play pretty open.

Ox needs to switch his brain on. Very sloppy!

You're totally correct of course. But I'd sooner see that than the arrogant "we're as good as Barca so let's just keep being wide open"
We don't have the personnel so put 10 behind the ball if you have to

our discipline is breaking down, throwing too many forward and starting to get caught out again.

this is where a manager needs to coach em from the touchline, not sod about with their coat or whine at the 4th official.

I thought that last week, but it's growing on me.

Decent half. I'd pay good money for a repeat of that for the 2nd half

bellerin played well i thought. ramsay looked good on the ball going forward, but his passing was often off.

i'm happy with that half.

lets see what pellegrini does now.

Bet it cuts Szczesny like a knife whenever he hears it.

Well well well, that was quite encouraging display from us. We were... I don't know how to put it... compact and solid??? Citeh did create fuck all apart from couple of corners but that's it basically. This is how we should play against big boys, more of this now!

Sorry, but still can't avoid the fear that opposition manager makes some tactical changes to second half and they'll go past us, but so far so good... Keep it going now!!!! :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:
