MAN CITY THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

To be fair to Sounness in my opinion he is the best pundit on TV.

I'm as shocked a souness.

That wasn't even one of those flukey helter skelter wins like 5-3 vs Chelsea.

Actual real life tactics. The sh1t!

The Stoke game and now this have started to re-ignite my enthusiasm.

How great it is to see an Arsenal team with discipline and shape go out and have a gameplan and stick to it. Why has it taken Wenger so long tp see this? What everybody and their dog has been crying out for us to do for years?

Ive been Shezzas biggest supporter but I have absolutely no problems with him and Ooooooospiiiiiiinaaaaaa fighting it out for the no 1 jersey.

As for Coq. A successful team will always need an enforcer. Someone to leave the foot in. Commit fouls. Ugly. Yes he'll pick up cards, get sent off, pick up suspensions but thats comes with the territory. I like coq.

Ha ha Sky guy just asked Wenger the same question "why so long before youve do e this"

When he's played in the No. 10 position he is, not when he's out wide.

The criticisms of AW remain, but credit where it's due: he got today spot on.

Proud of the lads.

Thought Souness made a good point. He suggested Arsenal set up like they did today in an effort to contain Silva.
Wonder if now that he (and everybody else) has seen how it can be done, will he do it going forward against big teams?
