As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

How goes it with the mourinho fan club folk
You can tell it really hurts some of these idiots having to give the team or manager even one iota of credit, so funny
At last a Proper Team Performance AND a Tactically Aware Set Up by Wenger - that everyone can enjoy and celebrate. And Lo and behold what happens The woodwork squeaks And Out Come the Wenger Freaks and AKB's
You two don't post anything for ages (And Yes it Is Relevant) - maybe you are afraid to argue your corner - and then ONE decent showing by Wenger - amongst many, many Inept and Amatuer tactical approaches to games, Finally he uses tactics employed by other managers against the (so called) bigger teams for some time now - and you come on here trying to do a puerile form of WUMMING - as for maureen - he may be a Loathesome Hateful Cuntt - But as a manager "tactically" he is streets ahead of Wenger - Otherwise surely Wenger would have beaten him - at least just once - by now.
Time for you AKB's to either Stand Up or run and hide in the cracks in the floorboards Again.
Not read through the comments yet so apologies if I’m repeating anything that’s been said but that performance at Man City was just about everything I have wanted to see from an Arsenal side playing away from home against one of the top sides. Totally unexpected but extremely welcome.
But it has to be pointed out that all of the qualities on show that gave us that deserved victory cost absolutely nothing. I’m talking about desire, workrate, organisation, having a game plan, adjusting your game to stifle your opponent etc.
The financial disadvantage excuse has been trotted out time and time again by Wenger and his army of loyalists, yet it was by simply not neglecting the areas that are totally unrelated to finances that won us that game. Therefore that level of performance could (and should) have been a regular occurrence.
And if we have been financially handicapped (and its almost laughable to claim that given the resources the club has had) then all the more reason to have worked on the things that cost nothing. Things that are so crucial they can actually be the difference between winning 2-0 and losing 6-0 if they are done properly.
For me, the main thing Sunday showed is how much Wenger has been short changing us all over the last few seasons. His selfishness, stubbornness, incompetence and neglect has been the cause of some massive underachievement. He should be pressed on why he hasn’t been able to produce a performance like that in years, not praised for it.
We cannot say for sure we would have won titles or the CL if we had tried to play like we did at Man City more often in the past 6-7 years. But I think we can safely say that if we had ... then a large section of the supporters would not have lost so much respect for Wenger or a lot of their passion for supporting the club. And there would be nothing like the divide in the fanbase that there is now either.
The ironic thing that many will refuse to see, is that the game actually proved why Wenger should go rather than why he should stay.
Steve_I, you post to tell people you aren't going to post, very odd. As for the supposed Mourinho fan club, yes he is a prick, but he is a winner, he will get the best out of his team, even when Chelsea had an average team last season, he stuffed your messiah 6-0. The funniest comment you made is that we will win the Champions league, and it will be due to Wenger. We have made the final once, reached the semi-final twice, and have been knocked out in the last 16, four years in a row, this really is the record of a team, that is about to win the competition Also, we couldn't win the competition when we had the best squad in Europe, containing Henry, Vieira, Pires etc.

Great post CLash,
That performance was about 5 years too late.
Arsene didn't know, it turned out nearly everybody else did !!

On a celebrity night out (all paid for of course) in Europe!
How do we not know he's in involved on ongoing discussions to sign a player.......
Funny but many here were condemning him for being on a beach one afternoon in Rio.
He got slaughtered for being on a holiday.
When in fact, behind the scenes, he was in discussions with Sanchez and his agent.
The result was the transfer signing of the year. But let's not give him any credit for that shall we.......

Yeah but where is the fuckinn DM and CB that we really need? Shall i give him credit for not signing the players for those two positions?
i think we all knew this - with wilshire that performance would never happened, or with captain pointy or arteta.
once again, like the FA cup run with the 'weaker' team, wenger continues to be the luckiest manager in football.
in previous years i'd hoped that he was actually capable of learning. but given he attributed the win to the two CB's i don't think so.
i will be shocked if wenger sticks with coquelin when wilshire in particular is fit.
You are right. He will eventually break what has been accomplished now (even if it was just one game) by bringing his old favorites in Arteta, Wilshire and maybe even Flamini back. I don't say that Coq is the reason why we were so good in ManCity match and actually has been in most of the matches when Coq has been on the pitch, but he has definitely been very good cover for our defense.

Exactomondo Amigo! - It's okay mate the AKBWUM - just cannot bear to have his dream lover's name even tarnished by the FACT that he is not doing as well a job of managing The Arseanl as he once did (in the first 10 years) or as he should be doing - especially at £8 million+ a year...Also I don't seem to recall any other managers needing to seek out the camera's and media at the WC - even though they did 'Good Business' in the transfer window. When I say 'Good Business' I mean they actually bought the players they needed - which wenker didn't like a CB (having said he would replace Vermaelen) and a DMF - which the world and his dog knew we desperately needed.
Sanchez - a Great Player for sure - BUT that still doesn't negate or hide the FACT that Wenger didn't do the business he should and could have.
Had he bought a CB and a DMF - we would not be in th mess we found ourselves through injuries....still the AKBWUM will gloss over that

Whatever Wenger do AKB will think he knows best. Even if we get relegated they will still think he's the best and only person to get us back. There is simply no other manager who can manage Arsenal except Arsene Wenger.
