THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I think everyone can accept that Sanchez was a great signing for us. And at the same time say that the manager was negelgent in not addressing our issues.

Neglegent is the only word that is applicable, assuming that the manager is aware of the issues. If not, then incompetent.

i see wonga is now claiming credit for Coq's improvement - "i saw he had a huge improvement in training, but i said to him that i could not play him without match practice, so i sent him on loan".

what utter utter bollocks ! - you sent him on loan for a YEAR until his contract ran out in May, because you didn't want him and only recalled him due to injuries.

liar liar pants on fire - any improvement is likely down to coaching at Charlton just like Jenkinson.

had he improved 'hugely' under wonga, wonga would have played him.

lying to justify his huge wages again.

A pathological liar he is. Proven time and time again, but no doubt the throngs of worshipping disciples will lap up his every bit of disingenuity and use it to heap praise on their lord and master.

antbody disputing that 4th is the height of Wengers realistic ambitions needs to listen to how wenger and the players talk. I don't expect them to be brutally honest but clearly the perception is that we are in a great position to kick on.

Despite a bit of a wobble over the last month Chelsea are 13 points ahead of us and we're in 5th. The players should view that first and foremost as a huge failure.
