The Scum Thread/Stadium Redevelopment

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Why Are You So Bad, Tottenham?

The headline alone is sufficient.

That's what we are reduced to, mate; hoping one bunch of cúnts humiliate another (worse) bunch of cúnts. :|

Is it too much to hope it all goes off and ends in a mass brawl with serious injuries to both sets of players? Or maybe someone could hire one of those massive water-carrying firefighting planes, fill it with liquid pigshit and do a run and dump over Wemberleee stadium at kick off? :D

We are 9 points ahead and a superior goal difference of 25 presently, the seasons dragged out this year and with the semi allowing only 2 more matches in April for us it looks like it may not be till early May this year for St Totteringhams day :(

They have done a deal with the NFL to hold games.
And increased their capacity to 61,000.
Their team budget will take a hit whilst they build the new stadium, but long term they will be in a strong position.
Though the transport links there will hinder them to an extent.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know how well-equipped they are to deal with the debt? Or how much debt they will accumulate during this period?

Would be interesting to know how much their team might suffer.

Are they building so that they can compete with the elite clubs ? I think that we broke the mould with that one

I loved the interview with some Arsenal fans on ssn today when they were looking for a reaction to the scum announcement - one guy responded that "they may build bigger, but they wont build better" 8) :barscarf: :bowing21:

That's a hell of an outlay to stage two nfl games. I don't think retractable pitches come cheap. Must be more to it in the pipeline. The Browns or the pissburg steelers would sit well at the shithole.
