Football and Identity Survey
Football and Identity Survey
http://goo.gl/forms/eZGJTmwe7H
This survey is part of my dissertation research at Bath University into Football and identity in England.
The survey has had over 1,500 responses so far, but has not had many Arsenal fans. So, I would really appreciate it if you could take the time to complete the survey, as it all helps my research.
Cheers.
P.S. I've been given permission by one of the admins to post the survey.

OK, I gave it a go and was enjoying it but it stalled/stuck trying to move on from the fourth page. I pressed continue a lot but it wouldn't continue! Don't know if it's my computer or the survey website.

Re: Football and Identity Survey
Here we go again! We are all beer swilling thugs who should be avoided at all costs until we might be useful to put under the microscope! I did my A level sociology at an F.E. College where the Head of Department thought that football fans were "cool" to study. He even wrote a book about it as part of that Leicester University "Football Group." When I did my Degree in the '80s they suggested that I "use my access to THEM",(I assume that they meant football fans), for my thesis. They were all "History Man" types, who loved getting down with the kids, with no grasp of the real world that they looked out upon from their cosy academic cocoons.
Go and read "The Soccer Tribe" by Desmond Morris, and leave us alone.

Re: Football and Identity Survey
Sorry for that, I doubt it is your computer, as people have mentioned it a few times. I have tried to fix it, but I can't seem to fix it. Thanks for trying to complete it. You can see the results so far here: http://goo.gl/vucHnjRed Snapper wrote:OK, I gave it a go and was enjoying it but it stalled/stuck trying to move on from the fourth page. I'm sorry that you didn't enjoy it, but I promise I'm not trying to paint football fans as thugs. I am looking at national identity and it relates to club identities and what variations there are throughout the football leagues. I would have liked to make this survey more broad and less focused on football but due to the limitations of a undergraduate dissertations, I decided to focus on football fans, as forums are a good way in which to receive a higher number of responses.Rugby Gooner wrote:Here we go again! the title of my 1992 Dissertation was "The Economic Recovery of Manchester, driven by football and music".Rugby Gooner wrote:Here we go again!
