Correct. In the grand scheme of things this game won't mean much to the season, we're only a point behind 4th,.
United play tomorrow. if they win we'll be 3 pts behind southampton.

Southampton have lost once in the last 10 games. we've lost three......

the result matters little really. they may finish above us, i dont care, they will never get anywhere, they will forever remain crap and rotten to the core, but we all know we are on a 2.5 year hiatus and its 4th place nothing more aimed for, no tactics until then, and he will just sign another contract anyway.

theres really no point giving a shit until he fucks off as we all know it will never change until he does, a constant bun fight with teams we should be miles ahead of.

Absofuckinglutely. Abandon all hope whilst this penis is in charge. Put a decent manager in charge of this team and we'll be miles ahead of the scum, bin dippers and Manure.

I genuinely believe we have a decent team, and yes wenger does take an ounce of credit for building it (albeit there is no quality up front and our holding midfield options are severely limited) but we will never reach our potential with him in charge. the day he leaves will be one of relief and happiness

As I watch a replay of that horror show on MOTD I ask myself a few questions like..

1. When was the last time we at Arsenal developed out own striker in-house? Even those Spud dicks have now managed it. Wenger is supposed to be this genius developmental manager - so why do I have to carry on watching that useless lump Giroud? Or forget developing in-house have we had a proper class striker since Judas left?

2. How have we taken just 1 point off Spuds all season? Didn't we used to take at least 4 per season?

3. How is Pochettino above Wenker in the league? Our squad is easily worth over £200m FFS. We spent over £80mil on players in the 2 transfer windows of summer, and Jan. He was given fuck all to spend in either window. Our wage bill is enormous. How is it even possible he has them close to us in the league? After basically 60% of the season? FFS they've played 40 games this season and we've only played 33. Why are they even close to us?

I never thought u weren't a Gooner (the way u have been accused of by many) but who in their right mind would contemplate watching MOTD tonight.

The blame for all your points lies with Wanker. He is the root of all ill at the club. Get rid of him and things would improve straight away.

Exactly my point we need to get this dickface out ASAP. I actually think if you look at the players we've got: Ozil, Oxlade, Cazorla, Sanchez, Ramsey. Then as strong squad players you've got Walcott, Giroud, Wilshere, Gibbs, etc.
I'm 100% convinced that if you gave Koeman, Guardiola, Ancelotti, Jose or even Pochettino this group of players then they'd get far more out of this team. The Spuds sacking AVB who did shit with that exact same lot that beat us today is proof enough. I think we could actually challenge for the CL with a proper manager.
Don't wanna get back into it but ultimately, there are 5 fundamental things wrong at this club. All down to Le Cock Sportif:

1. The culture at the club is completely unacceptable. There seems to be no consequences for underperformance. Example, it seems the players just don't fear him. Wilshere smoking, again. Chesney how many times did he have to cost us before being hooked? Then after getting dropped still released that moronic video with Wilshere. The selfie at Shite Lane etc..Coq gets a new deal after one good game in 4 years for us - which ignored that Leadbitter of Boro also shat on the Citeh midfield about a week after that
It's acceptable to lose 6-3, 6-0, 5-1 in the same season and they're "accidents".
The players give interviews about how we "can kick on" in the league even though we were out of the title race by November
There is zero winning mentality and Wenger deliberately recruits players who are weak-willed. Sanchez is eh exception.

2. Wenger still hasn't replaced Vieira. Ridiculous.

3. Since RVP left we haven't had a striker worthy of the name. Since Henry left in 2007, we haven't had a single striker who had pace up front, making us blunt.

4. How anyone can rate any of our defenders is beyond me. Apart from the obvious Wenger inability to know a thing about defending, look at that back 4 today. Monreal? Really? Watch him again on that goal. Mertesacker is a joke. Years after he joined Koscielny continues to make one major mistake per game. Watch his defending on Kane's winner again. Gibbs ain't good enough, happy attacking, positionally useless. Agreed they'd be much better as a unit if drilled but Kos n Bellerin the only one with potential I see there.

5. The fans. Again, all it took was one win v Citeh in about 20 attempts v the big teams and it was celebration time, all talk of giving Wenger credit. Nobody seemed in the least concerned about the Brighton game and how we conceded twice. The general attitude was we didn't need to prepare for Kane, yeah cos we are that good right?
I said it before game: if he can mug Terry, our 2 pretties will be a piece of piss and so it proved. Why does the pressure on Wenger subside the minute we have a half-decent run? Are Stoke, Anderlecht, United, Cheldki and Dortmund all forgotten already?

Yes spot on , there is not a winning mentality , this was summed up when he sold judas to man utd !!!

Glad you too realise that Mertesacker is shite, looking at the team yesterday that has to be one of the poorest defence line ups since the theashing at man utd.

Mertesacker has no physical presence or strength at all. Koscielny was half asleep all game.

Excellent post Ikechukwu1, agree 100%, maybe flash might give you some credit for the post, but I doubt it :) In terms of yesterday, if the media weren't so much in love with shitty spurs, they would have commented that we have a far superior team, and therefore the reason we lost should be down to the way we set up. If Wenger had any clue, he would have realised that just because playing a certain way worked against City, doesn't mean it would work yesterday. It doesn't matter who your playing against, if you invite the opposition on to you, and when you do counter, your striker is Giroud then your in big trouble. On that note, Giroud and Ramsey were terrible yesterday, and as players sum up what is wrong with the club, two players with ability, but shit when we need them in big games.
