Previous tiny totts v Arsenal matches

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

so it's that time of year again................one that you look forward to but hate all at the same time

Come On You Gunners :barscarf:

Safe trip to any Gooners venturing down - never ceases to amaze me that the Old bill can't control it, as it is the same scenario every year

Their fans are vermin. Cockroaches. Cowards every single one. They are Backstabbers and poojabbers. They are the shit on your shoe. They are the mouthful of period you get from going down on that lying drunk bitch you picked up in the worst night club in town. They are syphilis embodied. Herpes personified. The Gary Glitters of the football world. Scum. Filth. Dirt.

In 1987 Arsenal won four games by 2-1 at White Hart Lane.. January 2-1 in the league with goals I think from Nicholas and Davies.. League Cup second leg 2-1 Anderson and Quinn in a comeback second half win after the Spurs stadium announcer gave out details of League Cup Final tickets at half time (they were 2-0 up on aggregate at that point) three days later 2-1 after falling behind , goals from Allinson and Rocky in a night of pure emotion. Then in October a 2-1 league win , live on TV but with no action replays due to a technical glitch.. think we got two early goals one from Thomas and maybe Rocky..they got one back through Nico Classen .
More recently the 3-1 in 1999 on the same night the Victims came back to draw 2-2 with Manure. That night with a brilliant goal from Kanu we took them to the cleaners. Was convinced with both results that we would retain the title, but Leeds away came a week or so later. :(

My first scum away game :barscarf: what a day that was thousands of Gooners everywhere and I've never seen so much fighting either. Classen scored after 60 second Rocky after 4 mins Thomas after 14 with almost identical goals. There was no replays due to a strike amongst the technicians who did them

The 87 cup semi final was a classic night, typical spurs had sold a tickets at the turnstiles on the night even though was all ticket match, we had the whole Park Lane and about a quarter of the shelf.
There was loads of Arsenal outside with tickets that they would not let in, eventually got in at Paxton road end and got escorted round the pich to the Park Lane.
Atmosphere was electric when Rocastle scored near the end it was total madness, got to be one of the best away games ever,
also seem to remember when Pleat was in charge after his kerb crawling charge....that was a good night loads of seats ripped up i remember, oh yeah and we won again.

Five wins in all there that year, 1987 what a vintage!
We won that summer too, an August game, 3-1 in pre-season testimonial for Chris Hughton. Was the third of three visits there for me that year.
