Yesterdays game was disgraceful, the lack of commitment across the team was an embarrassment.

Those who keep dreaming we are only a few players away from a title challenge really need to take the rose tinted glasses off and have a long hard look at the team.. we are deficient across the board.

We lack a true striker, Sanchez is amazing but not an out and out striker. Neither Olivier or Danny cut it.

We have too many pint sized mid-fielders whose only thought is to attack and let others worry about defending. Caz and Ozil can be world class on their days but too often they are found lacking, Jack and Aaron are just not good enough does anyone honestly think any other top class manager would have persisted with either of them for so long

Our defence is woeful, i'm not just talking about BFG, Kos and Gibbs/Monreal are just as bad and have been guilty of huge lapses in matches this season, the only ones who have at least some mitigation are Bellerin and Chambers due to inexperience.

I have supported Arsenal for over 30 years and i'll be honest this season i'm seriously struggling to be enthusiastic about games for the first time ever. I'm finally coming to the realisation it's not just the Manager it's the team as a whole, I cannot remember a time where no matter how poor the individual players on the pitch were that they weren't at least putting some effort in.

In any match, but a NLD especially i expect each and every player to play their guts out no matter what and that definitely didn't happen yesterday :banghead:

I'm sure quite a few people will disagree with many of the points above, but for once take a step back and really think about what you saw yesterday and tell me i'm not right..... :banghead:

to be fair I think your points are a bit OTT,we have a great squad that would challenge but for the useless manager who knows no tactics

Bollocks. Two and a half fucking years he's sat there like a fucking mute after over a decade working under Wenger. He sits there and gesticulates uselessly just like Wenger, nodding along to all his comments like Churchill the dog.

"not being prepared to defend properly ahead of the game"
90+ caps and WC winner needs to be "prepared" to do bread and butter defending?

Ok but by whom?.

And for God's sake can't you head a ball further than 5 yards? and cut out the chest interceptions.

No other center-half in the BPL does that.

As long as Wonga makes money for the club thats all the board are concerned about they don't give a toss about the supporters they are only interested in making money. Wonga rules this club (sadly) he has too much power, where else would a manager who wins Fook all in 9 years keep his job. The board are money grabbing gutless bastards who are content with Wonga as long as he makes them money. Wonga is a retard who still thinks his outdated tactics are still working and it's always somebody else's fault that we don't win. He is one arrogant MF who really needs to be gone, nobody has the balls in that club to challenge him. WTF is Bold doing.....answer ....nothing, like somebody mentiond sits there like Churchill the nodding fooking dog. :banghead:

i haven't bothered posting since the defeat - there didn't seem much point really.
i might as well have cut and pasted stuff I wrote last season or the season before that because yet again we are in Groundhog Day.

we get a few wins, the AKBs come out of the woodwork, hey even I have been a little bit more positive since the start of the year, but obviously with the clueless fuckwit in charge the run of wins will never last that long.

to be honest with the squad at Wenger's disposal and the poor teams around us we should be seriously challenging City in 2nd place this season, but yet again it will be the annual race for 4th place. the only point to that is to finish above Spurs.

Spurs a team who finally look as though they have a half decent manager in charge of them - and that is more than a little worrying.

This thread should be reserved for people who contribute no money whatsoever to AFC.......the rest of us are guilty as sin for the situation we find ourselves in!!
SPOT ON

I will always maintain that the Arsenal season ticket holders whilst being the best supporters of the team are also sadly the biggest supporters of Wenger as their up front money keeps the old fool in charge!!

nothing will ever change, I have argued and re argued on here and just accept now there is no answer.
and it doesnt really matter whether Wenger goes or not, because as long as Kroneke (or his son) are in charge of this club then there will be ZERO ambition at the club. we are drifting aimlessly towards being another Newcastle. It just baffles me that so many can't see that.

We'll never know that for sure until we get a proper manager with ambition befitting our club and not some useless two bob lackey of Wenger's succeeding him.

He's completely and utterly fucking useless, we could literally not have a more useless assistant manager. He brings fucking nothing positive to the party and its about time people stopped depicting him as some kind of silent martyr. He is either te biggest AKB out there, or he is just keeping his mouth shut in order to trouser a million a year like a common whore.

And I'm not for a minute suggesting that Wenger would ever bring in an assistant who would challenge him and successfully reform us. But let's not pretend that Bouldy is some kind of legend because he fucking well ain't.
I said this a while ago, that Bould should leave, and when leaving, have a go at Wenger, saying that he had no opportunities to make decisions, and felt like Wenger undermined him, but of course he wont, because its better to have money than your principles in Bould's view.
