So say all of us...but one spin off , intentional or not, of this deal is the traditional fans are becoming even less of a necessity to the clubs. The " customer " who takes in the whole "Emirates Experience" is more valuable to the club. The only match day money the customer doesn't spend in the stadium is transport costs. The traditional fan meets his mates , has a few pints in the pub, doesn't spend on merchandise, most of his club gear is Christmas presents or birthday presents that he is happy to get because in reality he wouldn't have spent his money on them. This TV deal now means clubs can tailor their "match day experience " towards those that have money to burn. Logic will say differently , that clubs can subsidise prices , I fear that rather than view it that way , clubs will see it as a safety net.

for the Leicester game I was sat next to two empty seats for the FIRST 25 minutes of the match.
then in waddled a couple of middle aged americans weighed down by their shopping at the Armoury.
luckily for them they just made it in time for our 2 goals - for the first goal their reaction was "did we score", for the second goal their reaction was "who scored"
these are now the "supporters" watching Arsenal.

That's really disappointing to hear. Hard to beat stereotypes with events like that.
Had the same thing a few rows down from me, a guy came in after half an hour. I don't know if there were transport problems, but there did seem to be loads of people getting in 10-15 minutes late.
Some wanker high up in the PL hierarchy has already come out and said that the League is not a "charitable" organization amid talk some of that money should be distributed to grassroots level/ slash ticket prices.
Does this deal make Financial Fair Play redundant ?...Pointless having rules on financial quotas etc when so much money is being pumped in through TV rights.
