Beckham

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

beckhams family are West Ham. Beckham is 100% Man U, always has been but he fell out with Bobby Charlton when he left so he keeps his distance.

 Admittedly only seen him once and he came on for the second half, but he was far and away the best player on the field in terms of positioning and vision, and a cracking finish too. That was the start of the season, so maybe hes had that coached out of him

The one thing that bothers me a bit is apparently he is great mates with Jack Wilshere :(
The snippets I have seen of Crowley in our youth games I have been impressed, and as above he appears to stand out in much the way Wilshere did.

The club have already milked Beckham's name when he was training with us off season in America, so wouldn't put it past them to take advantage for marketing purposes but you would hope the lad is there on talent.

Given that he's the son of an iconic Englishman I'm guessing that goonersid and Augie have already written him off and have compiled a dossier containing every fault in his game :D

Reckon Beckham is a closet Gooner - he at least has a soft spot for us.

I think it's more of a case of having a soft spot for TH14, Dennis, Pires etc and the way we played from 98-04.

Didn't we almost sign Beckham back in 02? I heard it was stopped at the 11th hour due to an injury Beckham suffered prior signing.
