Weekend's other matches (21/2)

That is never a penalty, you could see he was waiting to dive and he has barely touched him. So obvious but fuck me does it make me happy not to see Alex Song play for us. Putting his hands anywhere near him just moronic with so much cover back.

Jenkinson looked solid.

Song gave a master class in slowing everything down and giving the ball away, and he gave away the penalty with 30 seconds to go.

Kane missed his third penalty out of 5 this season, but got the rebound.

FUCK

Bit like Rooney v Preston, everyone will say Golden-Boy Kane had the right to go down there, when you know he has took a dive. Alex Mong! What a dick! Still, only a point when I thought the Spuds were dead certs for all 3.

bugger :x

Oh well... still 2pts less than I thought they'd manage today.

Good weekend for Arsenal (especially when you consider Palace hitting the post right at the death :o ). And there's no bad result possible between Southampton and Liverpool. Draw would be nice though I suppose.

The blokes a cock but it's comedy gold.
Shepherd and kamara don't know what to do....he's ruining there nice, cosy, buddy buddy programme.
They look like the proverbial rabbits caught in headlights....especially "kammy" :D
Don't like the :censored: but Goals on Sunday is so bland normally it would make Phil Neville look interesting, Mourinho is actually making some sense , but as you say the presenters do not know how to handle him.

Great hit.

But a clear penalty and red card 20 seconds in. Ref and linesman both bottled it, clearly pulled him down.

And fucking hell how is that not a penalty either? Unbelievably stonewall!! Liverpool should be down to 10 and had two pens against them inside 4 minutes.

Honestly cannot remember the standard of officiating ever being so poor. This game should be out of liverpools reach already.

And then Mignolet gets away with a red card.

Two clear pens and two - possibly three - red cards.

Brendan Rodgers would have a heart attack if these decisions had gone against Liverpool over the course of a month, never mind one game.

I hope the Saints can get a point from this, also I am glad the Spuds only got a point. The thing is I think this ref has a bet on Liverpool to win the way he is giving the Saints fook all. :box:

Any semi-competent referee and Liverpool would have lost this game inside 4 minutes.

Even then they've been walloped all game.

You wait for the wankathon afterwards about their revival, battling qualities etc. imagine how much United would get pilloried if they played this poorly and won.

Hmm... Like what Lineker just tweeted? :rubchin:

Southampton 0-2 Liverpool
"Brendan Rodgers deserves huge credit for turning Liverpool's season around. A huge test of his managerial skills, passed emphatically."

They're 6th and out of the Champions League :?

Jesus that jug-eared fuck makes my blood boil. Epitomises the modern day pundit - only concerned with white teeth and not upsetting anyone, just spouting populist crap.

Just about every liverpool signing has flopped, just like van Gaal (compared to Moyes) the perception of them benefits from the PL being so piss-poor. They're only sixth as it is but in years gone by they still wouldn't be within touching distance of 3rd/4th.

Mind you Southamptons crossing this game has been up there with some of the worst I've ever seen. So many great opportunities wasted by over hit balls.
