Qatar 2022

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Tbh the european leagues dont have enough numbers to force a change here in the same way as they dont appear to have enough numbers to oust a supposedly crooked president :(
At least clubs won't have to worry about pulling Oirish, Scottish and Welsh players out of the tournament - they'll do that for themselves over the course of the qualifying campaign :D
I like to equate it to a handsome young man being sentenced to a spell in a really tough prison. Better that the young man kill himself, at least dying with some dignity. Better that than to blindly blunder on into that prison and get repeatedly raped right up the shitter not only by Big Bubba and his hard hitting crew, but also, Pinky Widehole and his soft as shite jailbitch crowd as well, basically every sorry half ass pounding the living be-fuck outa that young man's shitter. This also avoids the local media backlash when they carry that young man's dead mutilated body out of the prison, after he has died (mercifully, quite early on) from multiple gang rapes, humiliated, and covered in his own shit and a load of other peoples' jizz.

:D

That's a good point. Seven years is a long time and ISIS may not want to host the tournament, though they'll think the Qatarís are true believers, having constructed so many amazing public execution centres.
