Monaco at home

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

the problem is not welbeck, ozil or Giroud.

the problem is that we do not control the midfield against good sides as we play one okayish DM instead of two World class ones. which means when we lose the ball we are buggered, and the tippy tappy walking pace bollocks doesn't suit those three either.

i really don't blame the players. its how they are set up by the idiot.

Yep. The most important decision that needs to be made at Arsenal (after sacking the dud in charge obviously) is to drop the big useless bastard and putting Paulista into the side.

He really is a massive bottlejob, though that applies to most of our team.

Pffft, Monaco still look shite, we'll get 3, 4, possibly 5 in the second half
We'd better now hadn't we? They're really shit this Monaco lot aren't they?

Get Welbeck off. Why do we have to wait 70 minutes to haul Danny Average off?

Dreadful from Giroud. He's not had the support tonight and far from our worst player but give Barcelona, Madrid, Bayern etc the chances he's had tonight and they won't have drawn a blank.

Well done Mertesacker. Superb. Unfortunately as a Wenger favourite he's undroppable. Chickens well and truly coming home to roost and can't say I'm disappointed.
