if any gooner ever says oxlade should play central again, they need sectioning. Despite his goal, it was like playing theo Walcott in the middle. Stupidity from the manager. Yes we have 2 dms, sadly the other one is knock off refurb from Milan so Arsene didn't fancy our chances with him.

no, no it didn't . it looked shite.

no way can caz and coq protect the back four when our tippy tappy football leads us to lose possession and then get hit on the break.

wonga clearly should of played a 4-3-2-1 with Coq and TWO specialist DM's or an old fashioned 4-4-2 rather than the 4-2-3-1 he played.

he set us up to get raped on the break - as i posted five minutes before kick off.

my only consolation tonight is that Chambers wasn't left to get raped yet again.
We should have played Coquelin and TWO specialist DM's? and who might they be exactly? :?

Very bad day at the office but I still think you've got a decent chance, you certainly created a fair bit. Get an early goal (preferably Giroud will find his shooting boots) and they will get nervous. The third goal was a bastard like but i think you're still very much in it

if Ozil was so poor then why was he still on the pitch?

furthermore, why's he still in the team?

:D

Just awaiting the intelligent replies from his biggest fans saying something along the lines of "would you prefer to see Lee Cattermole playing for us". Because that's the only two options - a talented lazy fucker or a kicking machine....nothing in between

They've conceded 2 goals in their last 7 CL matches mate. We haven't a hope in hell of scoring 3 *AND* keeping a clean sheet. It's done. Over. Coach of the decade strikes again.

ran out of ideas, we didn't start at the right tempo and giroud proved yet again he isn't good enough for a CL team. no matter what db10 and the other giroud apologists say he is not a top striker, not even close. but theres no point getting aggravated over the weaknesses of the squad when we haven't even got a manager. no leadership from the clueless one yet again.

Due to other issues I had to watch this on delayed coverage so much of what I am saying might have been mentioned already but here goes -

Defence - we had not got one defender tonight. Bellerin did ok going forward but was crap defensively, whilst the other 3 defenders were utter dogshite  Gibbs hasn't got the brains of a rocking horse, BFG has to be replaced NOW and kos has to be told that he either shows that he can play against the best strikers now or he too is out the door. Coquelin showed tonight why, at 24yrs old, he is yet to be a regular first choice player for ANY team - willing, gutsy but at the end of the day substandard

Ozil -fcuking horrendous. Showed a few great passes but in almost 100minutes of football, that isn't enough. To me he is a peripheral player.....the type of player that you add to an already quality team, but not good enough to be a key player for any team

Sanchez - Apart from energy all Alexis can bring to the team is goals, but he is exceptional at scoring goals. What he is shit at is linking the play and being a creator for the team cos his skill and passing ability isn't of the required level.

Giroud- So average it is sad. By the time he was subbed tonight, I actually felt sorry for the guy  His finishing isn't good enough so being a willing player, will not make him good enough

Wellbeck - this guy isn't related to a top level footballer  He has NO football brain, doesn't have a poachers mentality, and worst of all, he noes see's himself as a creative/number 10 type of striker  Guys on sky kept going on about how easy he was making it for Monaco defence by drifting in, but it pissed me off more that he kept getting in his own team-mates way

Wally made a big difference when he came on and I give him kudos for that

What a fucking mess of a game.

Changing a defence that had found its consistency was crucial to tonights defeat. Ozil needs to learn from berbatov, that if you're gonna ponce about on the pitch do it effectively. Whilst the coquelin. carzola combination has worked in the domestic games, wenger was dare I say naïve to believe it would work in Europe. Was Jack suspended to night?

We can go and score goals. It seems we have to get turned over in the first leg and fight back for the second leg, Hopefully, they can do this again and hope Monaco capitulate at home...

If fit I'd go with Theo, Alexis, Ozil and Welbeck as front four flamini and wilshere in the holding midfield and a settled defence. Might also be time to bring back Chesney, after all he has the experience in these games..

The man is a cretin.
He asks, yes he actually asks the Sky interviewer how can we with 1 minute to go leave the whole half open?
A rhetorical question yes, but why does he not know the answer?
The same as the home game with Anderlecht, he just sits and watches the full backs bomb forward recklessly, we had a warning 2 minutes before the 3rd goal, not heeded.
His opposite number never sat down, he was warned a couple of times for leaving his area, but Wenger just sits there.
In the 2nd half (I was sitting behind him in block 1, row 21) he only got up once to have his mandatory bitching session at the 4th official.

Probably not a bad idea considering.
That's part of the problem.
