You're on 3 credits I take it? You'll get there, it's just been an odd season in that regard. The Sanchez effect I guess and people buying into the fact having better players equates to a title challenge, when patently it does not.valdemordor wrote:Well, Newcastle away sold out to members with +5 credits this morning, even this fixture, which was apparently easy to get txs for, sells out before I can get one. I'm even considering joining one of those supporters clubs you talk about on this thread, I don't think I'll ever be able to get 5 credits at this rate!![]()
Tickets for away matches, harder to come by.

I still love home games and try not to miss any of them despite my location but most of my mates manage to get their txs for away games with their memberships and it's real pain for me to go on different fb and twitter groups every 2 weeks to find a tx.arseofacrow wrote:More people disillusioned with home games?Robin_L wrote:You're on 3 credits I take it? Probably people realise that the away days are much better than the home games

Absolutely, you can sing, stand up, shout, swear all without a steward threatening to eject you.Daycat wrote:Probably people realise that the away days are much better than the home games
Unless it is against a top team, it would be no big loss anyway as the atmosphere is woeful (all Arsenal plc's making, they courted the tourists fans)
Plus at away matches despite the split in the Gooner camps between Wenker Outists and the other lot there is still more fun to be had when you are outnumbered but sing your heart out and take 3 points

Unless you're at Villa of course, where you can't get a drink at all and the stewards in the Upper Tier are all over you the minute you even stand up to let someone past.StuartL wrote:Absolutely, you can sing, stand up, shout, swear all without a steward threatening to eject you.Daycat wrote:Probably people realise that the away days are much better than the home games

Villa away was probably my worst away day of the season so far.....and we won 0-3.
Used to be a great away day when we were all behind the goal lower tier.

I'll be honest and say villa away was shite this year. terrible atmosphere, expecially in the second half and most around me were read for bed by the second half. the highlight of the day was singing the bergkamp song for a couple of minutes.
west brom away was probably the best atmosphere I've actually witnessed at an away day for a couple of years. the lads around me made a right racket and we were near the concourse too so plenty of people gathered near us most of the game.
