Monaco at home

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

And if you took a moment's pause in your haste to just childishly have a jab and actually read what I (or anyone else) has said about Giroud you would see no one has said he is a top striker. We've all said the opposite in fact. He is not a top striker. But he is an average to good striker (depending on the day) that has moments of brilliance and moments of utter shitness. But hey - don't let the facts get in your way huh, mate!
not at all mate, you were recently giving out at people who were criticizing him, I'm surprised how happy you are to backtrack on the subject but hey ho, I think we all agree what level he is at. I was jabbing because you were, nothing childish at all.

in essence, you started it 8)

Apology accepted. I win. :D

But nope - not backtracking. The stuff posted on here everytime he misses something is often beyond silly tbh. As I said he's an average to good striker, depending on his form, but I also absolutely believe (as I get the impression you do) that a decent manager could get more out of him if he was played to his strengths and not isolated up front in a 4-5-1 that he doesn't have the ability to play in. A decent manager would get more out of that whole team. A lot of pundits are looking at us and wondering why a team with so many good players can't challenge for the PL.

Who is that elephant in the room with the long coat and a permanently stuck zip? :rubchin:

Germans are well known for their work ethic, attitude and commitment.

We have a 6ft 7in German fanny who should never wear the shirt again let alone the armband. Why do we get all the cowards with hearts the size of ants. Goes around after every game clapping the fans - u brown nose fucking cowardly *word censored*.

And as for  zil. A class player but needs to be motivated and given a kick up the arse. Needs to be made aware that he is droppable and drop the lazy fucker if he continues doing "An Arshavin". The manager of the decade would prefer not to give players a bollicking after the match but to give them the silent treatment  . The last few games he has played the full 90 when he should have been first player hooked.

Am not just picking on Ze Germans but these two stand out coz they are World Cup Winners, Our Captain and Our record signing.

Others played shit aswell.

ozil is being mis-used,that is clear, when he leaves which will probably be the summer and goes to a club with ambition, tactics and pride you will see the best of him again,i firmly believe the problem isn't ozil its Wenker, you don't pay £40m for a player then play him out of position,oh hang on this is Wenker we are talking about square pegs round holes as normal,Jose said when he was at Real ozil was the first name on the team sheet.speaks volumes for how badly hes being utilised with us
