I thought the same thing when Giroud blasted the ball over the bar from close range and also when Welbeck chose to hit Walcott with the ball rather than the rest of the goal he had time to aim for.augie wrote:Ikechukwu1 wrote:Wow fancy that, getting booed on loan!
But don't the Inter fans realise he scored over 100 international goals for Germany against Qatar, Oman, San Marino and Gibraltar?![]()
Give him half of the chances that the french model had against monaco, and I am damn sure that we would have one foot in the next round of the champs league now
Re: BEST OF LUCK IN MILAN LUKAS
A lazy fucker who we are still paying £110k a week. And like Billy Bender we are stuck with until his contract runs out because no one will pay him what we do.Not long now till we give Wally Walcott another 4 years.Arsenal give more money away than Oxfam

I may be going out on a limb here but perhaps the fans were booing him because of his poor performances rather than their inherent 'racist' attitudes?DB10GOONER wrote:Yeah... because Italian club fans are known for their reasonable opinions and common sense, huh?Ikechukwu1 wrote:Wow fancy that, getting booed on loan!

Hilarious that you have a shit fit over racism on one thread but don't seem to have a problem using the attitude and opinion of some of the most racist fans in the world to back your "argument" on another thread. Are these renowned racists and reactionary morons how we now judge a footballer? Their opinion now counts again, huh?

Re: BEST OF LUCK IN MILAN LUKAS
Not what I said if you read it. Quite possibly they were booing him for poor performance. My point is this is a group of fans who judge, and are prejudiced against, many players based on their skin colour, including some of their own players. Hardly bastions of reasoned thought, now are they? So I'll hold off judging if he's failed there a bit longer than a few games and the opinions of racist morons.I Hate Hleb wrote:I may be going out on a limb here but perhaps the fans were booing him because of his poor performances rather than their inherent 'racist' attitudes?DB10GOONER wrote:Yeah... because Italian club fans are known for their reasonable opinions and common sense, huh?Ikechukwu1 wrote:Wow fancy that, getting booed on loan!

Basically, Itchy-Baba has made a bit of a tool of himself on this thread and will now chip in every single time anyone anywhere has anything vaguely negative to say about Podolski as if their word is gospel.

So in answer to my proposition you are saying 'maybe, but unlikely'?

When he joined us I thought it was the perfect opportunity for him to finally prove himself to be the world class striker that he promised to after the '06 World Cup.
He should be at his prime now but it seems that he's another in the overrated, overpaid Ozil mould.

Re: BEST OF LUCK IN MILAN LUKAS
he's just a very limited footballer. Can't even create chances for himself which is a shame because he has a good left foot.
But when you're limited and you can't even run, you're not likely to make it at any top club. It will still be our problem because he is on big wages and he'll be difficult to shift.

So effectively, Podolski becomes a better player through the sheer ineptitude of the ones we currently have?Arsenal Till I Die wrote:I thought the same thing when Giroud blasted the ball over the bar from close range and also when Welbeck chose to hit Walcott with the ball rather than the rest of the goal he had time to aim for.augie wrote:Ikechukwu1 wrote:Wow fancy that, getting booed on loan!

This argument has nowt to do with racism, but errr, is to do with football like!
This is about Podolski's ability as a football player - how you managed to crowbar racism into this is breathtaking frankly, give yourself a pat on the back Sire! And once you've done that, you could look at the footballing context ie Podolski has been sent out on loan and less than 3 months in, he's flopping massively. But yeah let's talk about the Inter fans and ignore Mancini's openly declared thoughts of him.

I guess them Bayern fans and Germany fans that boo him too must also have opinions of zero value too eh?

Oh would you look at that! It seems the consensus is growing that, Podolski is actually a vastly overpaid, overrated player. But yeah, let's give him "time". I suppose he's only a kid like...

Quite clearly (well for most people with a functioning brain) I'm discounting the opinions of a group of moronic fans that boo a player within weeks of his arrival. The opinions of people of that level of stupidity don't count. You, however, seem to think their opinion is sacrosanct and yet, these are the same group of fans that also monkey chant at their own black players. They judge players on skin colour. They judge players before the player has had a chance to prove themselves. Do you see the connection regarding their intellect? Is that clear enough for you?

We had our own little group of idiots back in the day - "fans" that booed Dicko, Nutty and Wrighty at certain times. And wow how right they turned out to be, huh?!! Those 3 were proper shit!

Speaking of Podolski "flopping massively"

Oh hang on. That's that settled. What were we thinking. The kind of 12 year old virgin geek that actually votes on internet polls is the best judge of everything. Will someone please ask those voters how best to deal with IS and the Palestinian question before it's too late?brucegrove wrote:http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/ ... ie-5265769
Fuck me, did IQ's just drop on here in the last few days?
