As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Kit designer Tarquin P. Suit explained: "In consultation with our sponsors, we wanted to go for a very middle class home counties look, to appeal to a certain section of our fanbase, and who better than that suburban icon, Ronnie Corbett?"
Please let this be a fake. Not impressed at all by Puma thus far and the fact they're releasing THREE new kits each season is scandalous - just a money grab.
Bring back the small white cannon. Our greatest ever kit: simple, classy and entirely Arsenal.
I don't know why we scrapped it in the end but 'til this day I regret it. Green is such a rarely used colour and Nike did a brilliant job - would've definitely bought one.
Unfortunately, we didn't.
That green 'prototype' is a fake, same as those 125 Anniversary shirts with the gold, embroidered crest and many others that appear every summer
As a Puma consumer, have been for many years I would not be surprised if they experimented with a plaid design.
After all they are well known for their golf clothing, which ocassionally crosses into their leisurewear. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PUMA-HEROES-T ... 339600f891

for the fa cup in 83
Trust Steve to have a pic of a shirt with the cannon the wrong way round

I'm a yellow and blue away jersey kind of guy but I love, and actually have, this jersey. Bought it off Steph on here. And it is the nicest away top we ever (might have) had, but didn't. Looks the mutts nuts.
One certainty about ‘leaked’ images of an unreleased kit is that while they may not be completely accurate, the designs are often very similar to the final version.
Nonsense. The amount of "leaks" is staggering and are often very, very wrong.
I don't think there's anything to be feared from these two proposed "leaks" whatsoever. The second one looks like a 12-year-old's Photoshop at work.
Couldn't agree more.
And as soon as these 'leaks' appear some little place in Thailand or somewhere starts making them and flooding eBay with 'rare prototypes'. It's been happening for years now!
