Manure FA Cup

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Welbeck just lacks what a striker should have and is a waste of time and space. Giroud at least can hold up the ball. neither is a great option but Giroud would be the better choice.
I agree with what's already been said about BFG and Szczesny.

TBH the first half was pretty good to watch.

Surely it was Kos.

It was. As good as Kos is at defending outside the box, inside he's weak and his positioning is shite. He's been poor for a while now.

When you play at OT against Utd you can't afford to rest players especially if you're Arsenal.

First half could have been better, defence let Fatty in for a fee header and he scored, lets hope we can sneak on in this half and keep the Manure out. :rubchin:

Welbeck has been so sloppy with his touches and that was an idiotic run then when we were two on one with Sanchez - had to drag the defender inside. Just not good enough.

Think our approach is broadly right but execution needs to be better. Difficult goal to defend but if I'm finding fault Koscielny was caught on his heels a bit.
Sorry but I just don't agree with that. Di Maria can do one thing and one thing only and that is, use his left foot and cut back inside.
So knowing that, we need to ask why on earth nobody forced the cross onto his right? :rubchin:

Wellbeck is wellshit.....always has been and always will be

I could accept him dropping giroud if he wasn't first choice next week against Monaco - this is a quarter final against one of your traditional rivals and you don't fcuk about with team selection tonight :banghead:

Personally I think that defensively sanchez and the ox have been found wanting - fcuk all protection for the full backs but looking very dangerous going forward (especially the ox). Cazorla and ozil have been poor and kos was shocking for shreks goal
