Said that our approach looked about right from the off. Felt we were good value for the win, although we didn't close it out/kill it off as much as we could.

Coquelin was tremendous. Thought Koscielny was brilliant as well, although caught on his heels slightly for their goal. Credit to Monreal too, I've been one of his biggest critics but he has played okay recently and excellent tonight. United were just so utterly rudderless, they lost their heads before we even got the second goal.

And a referee showing a backbone at Old Trafford - by far the most astounding thing to come out of tonight.

Fucking buzzing.

They were reduced to lumping it up to Fellani, who actually did quite well as the target man - thought we shoukd have put someone in front of him to stop him bringing it down on his chest ( Like Arteta did to Caroll at the Emirates a couple of years ago)

Plenty of workrate, a lot of tackling and effort, but we still let their wide players have time on the ball to cross far too easily.

Monreal had a great gane, his finish was ice cool.
Coq got stuck into Fellani, even Mert didn't look out of place.

Shezs was still a cocky git ( early dragback from Rooney) and shit kicking.

Hope no bad knocks and that Ox is a short term loss.

I've not been joining in the wankfest over Coq (pun intended), but he was immense tonight. He showed how important it is to challenge every ball, he read the game well and his decision making was excellent.

Monreal was excellent as well.

I thought before the match that we'd win, but the way Man U are playing right now they will not make the top four. The only clear cut chance they had was because of the positioning of Koz. They seem to rely on refereeing decisions from blatant cheating. It was good to see the referee being strong tonight, although Bellerin could have gone, but we could have had a pen and Rojo (and probably Fellani) should have walked.

Ultimately, we were good value for the win and without De Gea in goal, we'd have won by two or three.

Pretty please Wenger - buy Petr Cech in the summer and jettison that clown Chesney. He was awful. Yes, he hasn't played in a while, but we really was bad.
