Brilliant performance, Szczesney gave me the jitters tonight, but apart from that I thought the rest were outstanding in terms of application and most in terms of quality. Man of the match was the ref, yeah..missed the penalty/free shout on Welbeck and Rojo should have gone as he should have been booked for obstruction. But to call the two blatant dives correctly at that dump took courage. a type of courage that was missing in the Fergie years. Great night...we should have far more of these but no moaning , leave that for another day.

He is one player I feel will not shirk, it's been a while since we've had a midfielder with any sort of steel about them and I think he will revel in the "battle" if they want to try the rough stuff.
AHEM!!

As for Welbeck, whoever completed that deal at £17m needs sacking.

Agree, I 'm not a huge fan, but the lad had a great game tonight.

Actually think the M.O.M was the ref........could easily have caved in and given a pen, could have booked Bellerin again.

Has anyone checked in at Red Café tonight?

Hopefully they are showing all that patience they were preaching to us.....

Great Ref.

He gave them 6 yellows and a red and us 2 yellows. That's very fair and can I buy him a pint. :)

Now Fergie has fucked off, the refs aren't petrified of going against them any more. Two years ago, they would have finished with 11, us 10 and got a penalty near the end. Fuck em.
