Sagna quote.....

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Sagna quote.....

Post by Chopper »

Emirates Stadium, and has lamented the price tag put on him by Auxerre's hierarchy.

"My state of mind hasn't changed, I want to leave" Sagna told Football365.fr.

"Regarding at what price Auxerre want to transfer me, I can't join another French club. So if I leave, I will go to England.

"I had no career plan in my mind, but I have the chance to be wanted by a big European club, it shows my progression.

"So I want to move. I have to benefit of all the positive things that are happening to me. Maybe this chance won't come twice.

"I have a big desire to play for Arsenal next season. England correspond to my style of football. I also love the atmosphere created by the fans.

"Arsenal make me dream because they are a mythical club and there are a lot of French players. When I see all the French players that succeed with Arsenal, I say to myself why not me?

A mythical club....I like it!

My mates got a horse and if I stick a cornetto wrapper on its head we can have a fucking unicorn too!

Mythical! Only the Franch!

Welcome to Narnia! Home of Arsenal FC!

Yes, buy him!

But where shall we get the money from?

Maybe money from sales?
Or what was that i heard about some American offering funding or something?

Sagna sounds like a good player, and hes dedicated too. He was in the French League team of the season last year.

I know im a miserable git but do we want someone who goes to the press and makes statements when they want to leave?

Of course us gooners are flattered he has said these things but who knows if he does well or us he might be saying these same things about Barcelona/Real Madrid in 2-3 years.

What do you reckon?

True but nowadays you can't trust anyone Example: 19th may 06 Henry signs new 4 year deal and says "i'm here for life" funny that just 399 days into that new deal he joined barca

Lets not get carried away about what he has to say about the club. He might have other "mythical clubs" in mind in 3 yrs time after Arsenal makes him a star.

the reason why Wenger is looking another right back is the Africans nations Eboue will be off for 2 months and leaving no cover for Hoyte!
when Eboue comes back can play on the right wing as well as right back as we saw against the spuds in the 2-2 carling kid cup game
