No doubt messi has dropped away in the last few seasons, but that has been a consequence of injury and a great barca team starting to break up due to age.

Bale is class, don't care what anyone says he was impossible to play at times in the NLD. Fortunately he didn't stick around for too long. I should imagine the spuds felt the same way about TH14.

I can see either CR7 or Bale ending up at manure, but not both of them. Not sure how LVG would handle CR7's ego but he along with SAF are two of the few managers who can.

Preaching to the converted buddy - even before we bought him I had always stated my belief that wellbeck is no better than average, and I have seen nothing to change my mind.
The possibility of using faster direct football with monkey boy on the wing, would be very exciting for all Gooners

He has shown that he can be a tremendously devastating player. The last few Wales games I've watched he has just been fantastic and he has risen considerably in my estimations as a result. It's one thing performing in a decent side where you have no responsibilities etc but Bale playing for Wales has no hiding place and very little help, but he's all over the pitch and still skinning defenders for fun and turning teams inside out.

Would love to have him at Arsenal - not that it is a possibility.

For what it's worth....
Messi is a better player than Ronaldo..but weirdly I'd prefer Ronaldo in our team.
Monkey boy was/is well over rated and the Middlesex fuckers had a result getting Madrid to pay what they did...if the mancs want him..all the better.
Also...fat tounge Kane is just as over rated and the swamp dwellers should cash in whilst they can...personally i hope they keep him..he'll be found out next season.

Madrid fans are incredibly fickle. They voted Modric their worst ever signing in his first season and now they think he's a key player. They LOVE Casillas, then they boo him.
Bale has done OK in a team where the manager is trying to fit in all his superstars irrespective of whether it produces a good team. Now he's scored they think he's a good player again. He won't be going anywhere.
