They will say we won and won't look at the bigger picture.
Didn't see the game myself but sounds like it was the norm...how the fuck we are in with a chance of finshing second I have no idea.
Strange that, but the man is a law unto himself, Chambers should be on the bench after today and he should rest Sanchez as he looked knackered.rodders999 wrote:Chambers inexplicably has started the last 2 PL games ahead of Bellerin despite being by far the inferior of the two. Wenger claims he's keeping things fresh but on the other hand seems intent to keep playing Sanchez until he breaks him. Bizarre.
Oh! praise the lawdy lawdy! Does that mean Jacqui Oatley is going to take over managing the team !Nuggets wrote:Divine intervention.silus wrote:OneBardGooner wrote:How can any AKB even begin to defend wenker after his (mis) management of the team today...we were getting worse and worse by the minute in the 2nd half and he did absofucking nothing till the 69 minute....

in a Nutshell Amigo - in a feckin' Nutshell.BFG4 wrote:What an awful performance today. Wenger can fuck off with his mental strength bollox, as its clear the team has none. Everyone wanted the ball when we were comfortable at 2-0, but as soon as they scored, we were all over the place. Today showed laughable management by Wenger. Ramsey scores in midweek so he should start today in Wenger's eyes, rather than judging him on the fact that he has been awful all season. Also, defending a lead doesn't mean that you bring on as many defenders as possible, as you have no out ball, and although we managed to hang on, they should have had a penalty, and Ospina made two great saves.
Oh come on, he was the stand out player last weekend against West Ham. Then he came on and made a difference against Monaco.BFG4 wrote:What an awful performance today. Agree with g88ner here; I can totally understand the reasoning behind playing Ramsey today.g88ner wrote:Oh come on, he was the stand out player last weekend against West Ham. Some people try too hard to make Wenger out to be a fool. There's plenty of ways to do that without inventing new ones.
It was understandable that Ramsey played; especially in the absence of Ozil as it allowed Cazorla to play further forward.
Chambers is looking to be a bit of a strange signing at the moment.Sam59 wrote:so we're having to put up with Wenger's latest Great Idea, following his others eg Sanogo and other too many to mention ones.
Chambers at RB. The lad has been out of his depth against everyone. Does him and the team no favours.
So we clung on for the 3 points despite OGL's inertia, bizarre decisions, and fatigue from mid week.
Giroud always does well vs the Toons and muchas gracias to Ospina.
Wenger's really taken against Theo though.
