Has anyone who purchased a ticket so far got a seating map of what's been sold in our end.
Also the ballot results come out on Wednesday, but when do sucessful Gold Members purchase. It doesn't say anything on the site.

Re: FA Cup Semi Final draw
There will probably be info on Wed at 2pm when they announce the results.
I'm guessing nothing has been said yet due to the possibility of the extra allocation, if Reading have already accepted it we surely must be getting it so it could be a case of seeing what's left to sell (if we do get extra) against how many applied.

Personally I do not believe that Reading will be offered any more tickets.Gunnersaurus wrote:There will probably be info on Wed at 2pm when they announce the results.

If they are then the FA are bigger twats than I originally thought. Any additional ticket should only be made available for fans who commit to supporting a team by purchasing a season ticket. Clearly Reading will be hitting the ranks of the once/twice a season fan by the time they use up their allocation.

FWIW, this could be the first major semi/final I have missed since 1987, and it would stick in the throat if "hangers on" where allowed to see the game.

I can see this going to silvers, as there will be a fair few not bothering as their mates didnt also come up trumps in the ballot

Re: FA Cup Semi Final draw
I wouldn't be at all surprised if it dropped that low, I know we had more tickets for the Wigan match but that went to Reds with a history of attending 9 home games. Needless to say this will drag on for a while just like last yearTheoperator wrote:I can see this going to silvers, as there will be a fair few not bothering as their mates didnt also come up trumps in the ballot

Re: FA Cup Semi Final draw
No chance at all this will goto Silvers, with only a 32,000 allocation.
We ended up eating into around 15,000 of Wigan's allocation (may have been more?) and filled virtually the entire Upper Tier, because Wigan are such a tinpot club that won't even be among the bigger clubs in League One when they go down to that league.
Even accounting for the sheer level of Wigan's tin-pottery, looking back it's still surprising that went as far as Reds. This one versus Reading though won't get near Silvers, we just have too many ST holders for that.

Re: FA Cup Semi Final draw
There's a ballot because there's been more applications than tickets so doubt it will go to Silvers.

Re: FA Cup Semi Final draw
IIRC (And may well not do
) The ballot last year ended with quite a few people missing out for some people in their groups so they all dropped out

Agree, the club has already confirmed it has more tickets than ST holders so a ballot is the way it will be decided. Then when the first purchase window has passed, ST holders who didn't want to sit on their own because mates didn't succeed in the ballot etc will give up their right to a ticket. At this stage the club will them email ST holders who failed in the initial ballot offering them a ticket, and so forth. This is what happened for last seasons cup final.Robin_L wrote:No chance at all this will goto Silvers, with only a 32,000 allocation.

It won't get anywhere near silver imo. For that to happen you need well over 10,000 season ticket holders to give up their right to a ticket.
Re: FA Cup Semi Final draw
Is that the same tinpot club, that as Cup Holders came within about 10 mins of knocking us outRobin_L wrote:No chance at all this will goto Silvers, with only a 32,000 allocation.
