THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Manager of the month?? Pffff meaningless this is the manager of the decade we're talking about here 8)
if we get a favourable fixture list at the start of next season I think that the all important calendar year trophy could be regained this year :D :barscarf: :barscarf:

Next prick in a press conference who has the nerve to ask our glorious leader an actual difficult question should be asked how many manager of the month and calendar trophies they have won :)

a world class finisher you say rodders ? - what about that German chappie ? their 2nd highest goalscorer ????? ......pod something ?????

yes, imagine playing a front two of Giroud and that guy huh ????

4-4-2 would be great to see as an alternative and both those players would probably have benefitted from a forward partner but we can't pretend that they are a particularly terrifying prospect together.

Hope this Smalling talk is just that, brings back terrible memories of anothe Man Utd signing Mikel Silvestre, what a pile of crap he was.
They will then probably replace him with Hummels

Sami Khedira is leaving Real Madrid on a free at the end of the season. I'd love it if we could get him but I fear the emergence of Coquelin (who has been good tbf) will be Wenger's excuse not to go for him.

Just watch the wages , Khedira has always been about the money and his injury record isn't great either. Still I suppose there will be room should Diaby depart finally.

Yup! Diaby makes way for another injury prone overpaid prim-donna who was over-hyped at the WC and is long passed his peak. :?
