It wasn't owing to flying but I know exactly what you mean about genuinely thinking you are about to die. I experienced that last year and it is the strangest feeling.
Flew into the infamous Runway 13 at Kai Tak in Hong Kong a couple years before it closed. Fuck me that was something - and in those days I loved flying! :|

It was fun when I flew from Lusaka to Kitwe in Zambia and the start procedure included the pilot sticking his hand out of the window to get the propellor going. :worried:

got short shrift when I asked about in-flight movies.

:rubchin:

I remember when I was in witness protection and I was being escorted by the FBI on a flight, and the bad guys were after me so they managed to sneak hundreds of venomous snakes on the plane and then they started dropping from the ceiling and up the toilet and...

Hang on... that was a movie :rubchin:
Now if Hlebby had said that I could accept it - But bejeeezzuss mate! what you been drinking?

Was gonna start a new thread but will ask the question here instead........we all hate the victims and that we agree on, but would anybody sacrifice the 3 pts Saturday if it meant that they wouldn't win the fa cup ? Take note that I haven't asked if lads would give up the 3pts if it meant that we would win the cup, but am asking if ye would sacrifice the 3 pts if it meant that anyone but the scousers would win the cup - personally I am scared shitless that those cnuts will win the fa cup and we will have to endure all the media bullshit about stevie me winning the cup on his birthday and on his last appearance for them, and I would gladly give up the 3 pts if it meant reading, Blackburn, villa or us winning the thing

Yeah I would,us losing to the bin-dippers will be forgotten in a month, that wanker holding the FA Cup above his head will be rolled out every fucking year for the next million years, that's without his "We did it for the Hillsborough 96 blah blah blah".... I never want to see us lose to anyone at anytime but I would give up the 3 points if it meant they win fuck all this season.

augie..I would possibly be willing to give up the three points if it meant them not winning the cup, but I honestly believe they will win the cup because it is written in the stars and the tabloids. I also fear it may be pre-ordained from on high. Well the FA not a heavenly deity.
I spoke to a genuine Liverpool supporter last week about this, I said "all things being equal Arsenal have a very good chance of retaining the FA Cup, but I fear all things will not be equal"... He spoke of Skertle's charge but Rooney not being charged for kicking Mingolet as living proof that I was wrong and there is no FA or media bias towards them.

I detest Liverpool as much as anyone, but we will have heard or seen nothing like the orgasmic bias in the build up to a Cup Final involving them. There would be no worse scenario in football than them even getting to the final this season. If they get there they win it. Simple as.

It was daylight robbery in 01,Henchoz 2 hand balls on the line, then Mr Personality scoring late on,I think we had a definite penalty turned down too? If they get to the Final I cannot see them being allowed to lose.

Am I the only one not especially worried about StevieMe lifting the cup?

The thought of it is stomach-churningly abhorrent, but so is the Scum winning the league (or God forbid, the fourth place trophy), but the whining-one's powers have been slipping for a while now, and I think there's little chance of him doing it.
I certainly wouldn't give up three points to the Victims.

He managed to fall over and lose them the league. Got sent off in record time to see them lose to Manure at home. He's not even a regular starter.

I can't help thinking he's going to miss a penalty, or get sent off again, or go arse over tit in the last minute to head home an own goal that wins us the Cup.

That's one shot that would be played over and over every Cup Final day. A fitting tribute to a complete c*******.

No.

We will dispatch them tomorrow and will do the same in the cup should we play them - although I can see Blackburn knocking them out.

We are the better side.
