THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I know United fans will go on about their own poor start but bearing in mind they spent over 145 million on players and that doesn't even include Falcao who is costing them over half a million a WEEK all in they would have expected a top 4 place at the very least, outside of that and they lose 25 percent of their sponsorship income for failing to reach the CL again and that in turn would have probably meant a 3rd manager to start the new season 3 years running so I'd suppose they have done well with that pressure. Man.City have under achieved but you can't help but think that both the restrictions placed on them by the FFP and also other teams improvement was just as much to blame. Liverpool and the Spuds have been the real disappointments, Liverpool obviously lost Saurez and that alone is good enough to put them out of the picture and the Spuds appeared to put all of their transfer window eggs into the Schneiderlin basket somehow forgetting that United, Liverpool and Arsenal had already pilfered most of their players. With all of that is it any wonder that Chelsea stole a march especially with the easiest opening fixtures which Mourinho himself probably couldn't have hand picked better, hardly any major injury concerns and being clever in the transfer market again.
Stick some paragraphs in, you lazy fucker.

and

Flash actually relishing it

Watch as the muppets from Arsenal fan TV spend the coming weeks and months telling everyone why Klopp could never be as good as Wenger :banghead:

Actually it could work well for us possibly, he wont keep his job more than 2 years at Citeh unless he wins back to back doubles. I cant think anyone will make a great run of things at Citeh, theres a massive rebuild needed there. I would be surprised if they get anything beyond the 4th or 3rd VT next season.

we can let them blood him and then take him on after the remaining AW 2 year contract runs out  .

Who funds the ATV project? Is it Bully or Ty? drives me mad watching Ty have a suck of his bottle every 2nd second, Freud would have a field day analysing that..... :rubchin:

They won't ever compare what Klopp has won in the past 5 years with Lord A Hole though would they? Cos it's a no-contest. Nor would they compare their respective wage bills and budgets. One is clearly the better manager over a 5-10 year period, and I'd take him next season in a heartbeat. He can bring Reus with him also.

Naaaah sod that let's stick with Le Plank, can't wait to see Gnabry return and a new hungry Theo

It'll be doubly funny if Klopp turns up at Citeh and kills it next year. Watch the AKB narrative change to the default "oil money" it'll go from Klopp not being good enough to "he should win it with that money" (but I thought he was rubbish?) would that be the same oil money that Arsenal, Palace, L'pool, Newcastle and Boro have all easily beaten this season?
