Went in 2003 and was sat very close to the Sheffield United fans, they were celebrating before they realised what had happened. Lovely stuff!

Re: Previous FA Cup Semi Final's
Can anyone explain, these end of extra time penalties dont come up as goals in stats, yet obviously they are goals, so how does that work
In the fullness of time the great Kim Kallstroms time at The Arsenal wont be remembered despite him being bought on in extra time by the tactically astute one as the penalty specialist. Its all a bit odd, in that a last minute cameo appearence as a sub counts as an appearance ( I think) yet getting us through to a final with a penalty doesnt? (I know even if he had missed we may have got through...)

I remember 2001 very well too. 1-0 down and pummelling the spuds on the pitch and the fans where amazing.Henry Norris 1913 wrote:1983 was the first one from memory. we had a pretty average team and previously got thumped by the mancs in the league cup semi final so hopes were low. the crushing thing was, we took the lead and they got two late goals, in reality we should have lost comfortably but on the day we were a match for them.
1991 was a fucking disgrace, didn't show up at all but 1993 was the revenge match, typical george graham era performance.
I remember going to old trafford in 2001 and that has to be the best atmosphere at a game I can remember, most of the ground were stood , and going behind always makes it sweeter when we win. Pires got the winner and we went mental
Probably the best atmosphere i've been in since all seater stadium became compulsory for prem clubs. 30,000 plus Gooners going absolutely ballistic when Pires scored.

5 points gp543 ( thought Kallstrom would have got forgotten)
order was, Arteta, Kallstrom, Giroud then Carzola though

Re: Previous FA Cup Semi Final's
Get the semi's out of the greedy grabbing hands of the FA and Wembley
and put it back to two neutral grounds ......Wembley should only be for the Final ,making it a proper special day out

I am an Irish-ewok,who usually wears an Arsenal half and half strip, meet me by the Eboue statue before any home game.
Re: Previous FA Cup Semi Final's
'93 was my first and I just remember after Adams goal the last 7 mins were excruciating to watch and Dixon got himself sent off. Then 2001,2002 at OT. Remember when Sol went off I jured after 20 mins thinking that's his last game for them. Pires' goal was sublime moment. Witnessing Seamans save from the opposite end and even then everyone knew how great and amazing save that was. 2004 at villa park watching the Neville brothers ruin Reyes career. Even now that one still hurts even more when they both get critical of players bad tackling. And at Wembley against the chavs and the predictable 2-1 scoreline, Flappy having one of his days, Drogba scoring and dispicably Arshavin being benched after scoring 4 at Anfield.
