Stevie "G"s birthday party

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Is this going to be another date on which they refuse to play?

Thank fuck.

The media orgy that would have ensued leading up to the final had they made it would have been oppressive. You can bet each and every journalist is fucked off too - bolloxed the narrative right up.

All the sentimentality, Gerrard's final game, one last hurrah, his birthday, etc.

So relieved.

Saw an idea on twitter earlier that both sets of fans sing happy birthday to him in the 35th minute. Please happen.

Can we please just forget about him now and move on?
The thought of Gooners singing his name at Wembley, giving him the attention he loves at a match that has fuckall to do with him really pisses me off.
He. Is. Finished. Irrelevent!
Can we just sing for the Arsenal?

Yes its hilarious his birthday party and the media stories have been ruined. But singing his name at Wembley? (even if it is to take the piss). Puleeease!

Depends on if the singing of Happy Birthday is accompanied by 40,000 wanker signs. If not the media will report on how much respect we're showing him and how he is loved even by fans of other teams.

I think it would be quite funny to take the piss out of him.

I hear he's now having difficulty booking a DJ for his B'Day party. Something about the chances of being assaulted by a drunk embittered scouser and his 5 mates.
