''WHY DID RVJC NOT QUESTION OUR AMBITIONS FOR THE 7 YEARS HE LAY ON THE TREATMENT TABLE''.
DB10, RVP is a prick who im happy to say is crocked again this season, but your whole argument is based on the fact that he never questioned our ambition while he was injured. He sat down with Wenger at the end of 2011/2012 season, and wanted to know what direction the club was going in, and when crackpot was going with the same again(aiming for a top four finish) and not going to buy the world class players we needed then what was RVP going to do? Should he stay at the club for the rest of his career because it was morally the right thing to do? Also, where do Feyenoord fit into this, as they should be outraged that they nurtured him and then he fucked off to England. I hate seeing him at those pricks Man united, but you can blame the club for this, as it should have been made clear from day 1 that he would only be sold abroad. Instead we had wanker arrange the deal over the phone. He wanted to go, but we did everything to make sure RVP had all the power in this instead of dictating the conditions as to who he would be sold to.

They keep saying Arsenal will get most of the possession - okay, probably - and that the chavs will try and hit us on the break - But what if maureen decides to change tactics for the first 20 minutes or so - and they come out of the blocks get a goal or two then defend like we all know they can? :?

I would love it if we ripped the chavscum a ne wone - 5 - nil or something.....

Yeah sorry was Day dreaming for a moment.....

What is this "change tactics" of which you speak?

I never warmed to Cesc because I always knew he'd go to Barcelona and it would be before his peak years, so his time with us always felt like a glorified loan. That and the fact that he was the captain for so many of our epic capitulations and he was always out of steam when crunch time occured, although I partly forgive him since he was saddled with such dross in the midfield.

It's not just that Wenger can't beat Mourinho - we haven't scored last 4 games against them.

Usual form will be to look lively without creating much first 10-15 minutes, then spend the rest of the game looking completely blunt. Chavs nick a goal in the first half and sit back before picking us off with a second later on in the game. And they'll get away with a blatant penalty or red card in there somewhere too.

I fear you could be right.....what's more from the supposed position of comfort we're in now (as with seasons past) a defeat to Chavski could spark a mini collapse and the annual race for 4th could be back on in a matter of 2-3 weeks

I sincerely hope not because irrespective of their 10 point lead I want us to tear these c.unts a new one

Chelsea are a lucky bunch of horrible twats.

They had a total of THREE shots on target over their last two matches. Lucky fuckers scored twice. Lucky fuckers collected six points. Against the mancs they had an embarrassing 30% of possession. At home. They are not very good at all. It's just that other clubs are slightly better at not being very good

They will be parking the bus again. But I am praying we get an early goal to get the bus shifted. I predict we will beat the fuckers by two clear goals. :barscarf:

Point is you can't fault players for having loftier ambitions then silent Stan & co. That's who the fans should have directed the vitriol towards, the people running the club, & that's who should get it when it inevitably happens again. Simply dubbing ex players *word censored* diverts attention from the bigger picture, the failure of upper management.

Look at the Sterling situation, he's demonized as 'money grabber' for rejecting a contract because he can see LFC are on a road to no where. All attention is on what a 'greedy' boy Sterling is, while nobody is acknowledging that he's absolutely right, Liverpool aren't winning anything any time soon. Nobody is saying 'hold on, Sterling's right, Liverpool are shit, why?' Rodgers gets to scupper away from the fact that he's failed to make Liverpool a competitive team in spite of spunking £250 million.

Football fans are like hysterical birds, all emotion, no objectivity.
The difference with Sterling is he isn't good enough to be at a team better than Liverpool.
That's arguable. I would take him over Walcott and Chamberlain on the right flank.

Cesc doesnt deserve a warm reception as he jumped ship when the going got tough to go play for the team he really loves.
I dont wish him ill will but lets remember that he left us to play for his favoured club, forcing us to look elsewhere (Ozil)
The best response to him would be a muted silence, although a few boos wouldnt go amiss. Even more so than RVP who was a similarly great player but not really such a fan favourite, Fabregas was beloved by Arsenal fans everywhere. Thats no longer the case though. I cant watch videos of those two in Arsenal shirts anymore. I find it astonishing that some fans can refer to Cesc as a club legend. For hum I guess the tragedy is that if he had just stuck around a couple more years Barcelona might have been ready for him.

I think we'll win tomorrow because its about as meaningless a "big game" as you can get, and weve been pretty good at those the past few seasons. A loss would hardly sting as much as usual given that the league is all but wrapped up and the league table doesnt lie regarding the ability of the two teams. It would be nice to win by two or three goals though so as to jump the mental barrier of beating them.
