Anybody else worried that our "big" signing for this summer will be Carvalho?

Don't get me wrong I would very much welcome Billy C's BBC into our midfield but I still think we need another striker to bench Giroud. Is that Dybala kid any good?

I think Jackson Martinez would be perfect for us

We definitely need a top striker but I'm not convinced by Martinez. He'll be 29 in October and, while a goal every 2 games is just what we need, it has been for the best team in a shit league.
His name has been touted about for a few years now, but no top team has taken a punt on him.
Citeh's, Chelsea's etc defences may be a bit stronger than Moreirense's or Rio Ave's.

Dybala looks a talent but would be a big, expensive risk. However, it doesn't look like there'll be any world class strikers available this Summer. I suspect we'll be starting with Giroud.

Saw this today:

Any thoughts on the lad?

Might be nice to have a decent young defender come in and work his way up :rubchin:

Keeper: Lloris

Defender: Don't know

Midfield: Gundogan

Striker: Reus

Get these three in and even Wenger would struggle to fuck it up.

I know many of you ridicule Jim white on sky sports transfer deadline day, but if you think that is bad then you should watch him on the build up to the nfl draft tonight on ssn - the man is trying to bring enthusiasm to the whole thing but he simply hasn't got a Scooby doo about what is happening   Not everything has to be ultra exciting (especially 5 hours before it starts  ) Jim so just relax and read whatever is on your tv prompter ffs :banghead:

Whatever happened to nick halling ?

The draft coverage starts the day after the superbowl here and consumes our equivalent of SSN for the entire period. Thank fuck it's over today.

NBA's shit mate. College basketball far better. March Madness the best sporting event outside the World Cup for me.
