Man U (A) tix travel pubs etc

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Man U (A) tix travel pubs etc

Post by terry henry »

Going to Old Trafford a week Sunday. Always gone on the coach when been there before, but this time getting the train to Manchester Picadilly. Question is from there, are you best of getting the train to the station at the ground or using the metrolink?

Also what boozers are people going to?

There are a few bars and a pub normally full of Arsenal upstairs at piccadilly station and then the train is a good option as it stops right outside the away end or head to Salford quays near the lowry outlet and there are a few pubs on the waterfront where there is normally a mix of gooners and mancs

For the city game a few of us went to wetherspoons just down from Piccadilly. Full of gooners.
