Charlie Austin. Scored more than giroud in a team that has been relegated. He's not quite world class but gets stuck in and knows where the goal is. Shearer didn't start scoring regularly to his mid twenties. Austin might turn out to be the answer.

I remember shearer's debut as a young lad was against us and he scored a fcuking hat-trick and that was when we had a good defence too

Probably more important than how many is who he scored against - Chelsea, City, Pool, Us - twice. impressive!

Vidal is the type of player we need....Schneiderlin seems more of a wenger type player.
Would love us to get Vidal.... would be happy(ish) with Schneiderlin.

Arturo Vidal would be the missing piece in our mid-field..he munches the opposition and has great skills. He is mates with Alexis..so that could also help if we are in for him!?
