He certainly has the right credentials to take over from Wenger.
Would love to see Carlo at The Arse, feeling a bit worried he might replace Brenda at the victims though, do I not like that :-|

I don't know why some people bother looking at potential managers that could come in to the club, as realistically it isn't going to happen. The board and Wenger are on the gravy train, and once CL money is coming in then Wenger has justified his massive wages and the board have made themselves more money. The most worrying thing is that when Wenger does leave, he will probably move upstairs, and a yes man will be brought in as a replacement so that he can continue the Wenger policy of just doing enough to secure CL football. Imagine if the likes of Ancelotti came in to the club, the board would be shocked when he doesn't give a fuck about the balance sheet, and wants to actually spend enough to make us proper challengers for the title, it wouldn't suit them to have to part with any more money than is necessary as the CL money will always be their goal.

I'd love to see Carletto get the Arsenal job, he's 20 times the winner and manager Wenger could ever be, his teams play exceptional football and he's tactically astute. Oh and he knows how to win the CL too.
So having said that, he isn't coming....

to be fair I think even Wenger has a point here.
it is ridiculous how this season has just gone on and on ( he is not the only manager to moan about this)
when did the FA Cup final ever take place this late? The CL final is not until June!!

also why is next season starting so early! The Community Shield takes place 64 days after the Cup final!!

I'm guessing it starts so early because of the European championships at the end of the season.

then play 2 PL games a week sometimes then - how did everyone cope when the old league 1 had 42 matches a season, not to mention never ending cup replays

in fact just checked the fixture list - the league will only finish 1 week earlier than this season so that is nonsense about the European Championships. The FA Cup final will be 21st May next year - as late as it usually is (apart from this season)

Why would he go to the scousers? what could they possibly offer him? :? There are some deluded people in England. People are talking about Klopp going to West Ham  because they have large empty bowl to move into . Carlo has 3 European Cups to his name, he can bide his time and move to a club who has ambition to get him his 4th.

Jose not on FB then?

Carlo is taking a year at least out due to a serious back op. 2017....we can dream. He's also the sort of man that would keep the old duffers like Sir Chips happy.

If I met Wenger right now, I'd only have one question (suppress all the angry ones) - why don't you play Rosicky more, even as a sub?

Id say this to Wenger, not really a question, more a request.

Just seen Wenger getting drawn into the Mourinho speech the other night.....typical Wenger 3 days before a cup final, Mourinho must be laughing, can he not rise above this.....obviously not

Build ups to big games are nearly always negative, setting the tone, bad pitch players are tired...etc

It's hardly 'getting drawn in' when all he responded with was that he wasn't interested in what Mourinho said. :? :? Had he said anything other than that, then maybe you'd have a point.
