THE NORMAN WISDOM MEMORIAL FILM THREAD

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

No. No, they fucking don’t; not unless they’re in a persistent vegetative state they don’t.

Total horseshit which no amount of Scarlet Johanson can save from the shit-heap.

Christ, the new Mad Max movie is absolute horseshit. Fucking appalling pile of cúnt.

"Fury" was quite good - right up until the tagged-on Hollywood action movie ending.

Yeah, pretty much agree; even Shia LeBeouf’s kickable face didn’t put me off too much.

I was in a bit of a twat-mode when I first saw the tank, as I was thinking: “that’s a firefly, why the fuck are the American’s using that?” (Because, as everyone knows, :proudtosay: the firefly was a standard Tommy Cooker with a British 17lb artillery gun mounted so it could at least engage the Tiger tank without being blown up before it could even see it.)

I felt like a bit of a *word censored* when I realised it was an Easy 8 instead.

Highly recommend this to all The forum.

I know next to nothing about Baseball, but sports fans in general will find this a fascinating documentary about an ex Baseball player.

It sounds dull, but believe me, it is anything but.

See it!

The ONLY interesting thing about the 3 main Yank sports (throwball, stickball and Giraffeball) are the documentaries! There are some really fascinating ESPN docs that are brilliant viewing, really interesting, and then you try and actually watch the sports themselves and fall asleep.

Watch any of the ESPN "30 for 30's" and you should enjoy them, all very good. And yes American Football is boring (though I still watch), Baseball is shit and I couldn't care less. But basketball is a great sport and has the best athletes in the world.
