Of course Ivan is right. The last thing we'd want to do, is "upset the balance" of a squad that yet again failed to remotely challenge for the title and suffered its worst CL humiliation in years! What we want is, errr...stability.
Still, Arsene's fanboys will be out to do damage limitation PR soon lol
I'm sat on a train full of happy gooners that have spent a lot of money to go to the game. Where are you outer Mongolia? *word censored*.

I do of course realise AWs deficiencies but winning 6 FA Cups is an absolutely outstanding achievement.

twice now 2 in a row as well

Immense performance from all the team yesterday. Honestly it was as good a performance I can ever remember in a cup final from any team.

when he came over to the fans yesterday, did a double fist pump and then shyly put his hands back in his pockets...i have to admit..some of the old love I had for him came flooding back...a bit like when you're splitting up with a bird, you know breaking up is the right thing to do, you don't want to be with her anymore....then she bloody does something that reminds you of why you fell for her in the first place!!!

I think I'm still drunk!!!

We've won it 12 tiiiiimes :barscarf:

Have to agree. He got everything right and like you say, strangely I was happy for him yesterday. :)

Nice one Arsene. Very happy for him and all of his team.

Great achievement to win 6 cup finals and 2 back to back.

Yes was a fantastic performance in a cup Final, best i can remember.....you can honestly make case out for several man of the match candidates including,

Sanchez, Coquelin, Ramsey and Ozil,

Now is the time to build on that get the right signings and push on for that title, Goalkeeper, Midfielder and a world class striker, then we will give Chelsea a run for their money.

I was surprised that he picked wally and, even though I will continue to argue that he aint no centre forward, it was absolutely the right decision cos he was always going to cause villa more probems than giroud. I knew that he would pick Chesney as well and that too was the right decision so fair fcuks to him for getting both decisions right 8)

That being said, we will never make that step up to league winners again cos he simply doesn't have the drive to do what is necessary :(

He got things right yesterday. Credit where credit's due. He's found the best midfield finally and Cazorla, Coquelin and Ozil has given us another dimension. Not nearly as reliant on Sanchez as early season.
What I hope is that this has rekindled his desire to actually challenge for the major honours. I also hope he sees the need to bring in a few world class players, particularly GK and striker. (I still doubt his views on the importance of a world class GK).

To be fair the old fella got it dead right yesterday, even playing Schsezney seemed to work, (who i admit was dead against playing ) coming out to deal with Benteke early on with a good punch, and Benteke on the ground, that set the tone.
The Walcott threat had a big affect on the Villa defence, they could not push up and press our midfield....another good call

Bellerin is going to be top drawer no doubt about it, Coquelin another coming on great, got to give Wenger some credit

Yes of course taking on the wealth of Russian mafia and Oil billionaires will be the real test in next years title race, BUT if he adds to squad with the right players, really think we can mount a realistic challenge...we will see......

I'm happy for everyone including the Lord Wenger .
I wanted him gone since 2010 but I accepted some time ago this isn't going to happen anytime soon so I'm learning to grin and bear it and there can no better slave than a back to back FA CUP ,and a CL Spot without strings attached, despite the lower points score .
We do need to strengthen the squad and take the pruning shears to some deadwood and then get 3 of 4 world class players ,GK DM, LB, S.

Do this and we can go a long way, unfortunately I think he might just do 1 of the above and then settle for internal options.
