As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Watched the last 20 minutes of yesterdays game and I thought to myself......different gender but same old England
Seriously though, I was amazed at the difference in class when it came to technical ability - maybe because of the Arsenal Ladies team, but I had heard so much in recent years about how the ladies game in England was up with the best countries, but france gave them an exhibition in football yesterday They way they retained possession was in stark contrast to how the England team hoofed most of their passes

Artifical surfaces are easier to clean, rodders. You more than anyone should appreciate that.
Due to a "misunderstanding" there's a court order in place that prevents me from being within a 5 mile radius of any women's sporting event so they won't have to worry about cleaning up any of my "spillages"
Danny Mills is a cretin. To highlight an example of how negative and uninspiring England were, he managed to scour the entire game and come up with one moment where they pressed France's defenders hard in possession and counter-attacked well in a move getting the ball to a winger in space and four fannies in the box.
I didn't watch it - I just accidentally turned on at that point
On Sunday night I caught the end of Germany beating Ivory Coast 10-0 !!! The scoreline itself was a joke but what really made me laugh actually happened in the German penalty area:-
The Ivory Coast winger put in a weak cross ... somehow the German keeper dropped it ... then the Ivory Coast striker the ball fell to headed it over the bar despite having an open goal ... and to top it off the whole thing was wrongly ruled offside
I appreciate this tournament gives certain people in the media and the public a chance they crave to prove how right thinking and tolerant they are by taking an interest ... but in the meantime women's football remains abysmal.
