The 2015 Transfer Rumours Thread

More to the point, when's Pedro signing? You know, the player you wanted to play wide instead of Sanchez.

Seems Santi also realises how useless Giroud et al are!

:barscarf: :barscarf:

So after Sanchez calling the season "underachievement", that's now Santi disobeying his Master's voice about not needing any major signings. No wonder Arsene prefers "quiet" types like Denilson! :lol;

Sunderland agree deal with Arsenal to sign Carl Jenkinson on season-long. West Ham and Southampton also want him mirror.co.uk/sport/football…

So, a £100k a week striker should be free to play "without pressure"? At a club that allegedly aspires to win the biggest prizes?
:shock:
its not his fault if Le Cock pays him £100k a week,same as the money wasted on Diaby,Podolski,Bendtner etc etc etc etc etc etc
but some players need time to show they are loved so they can blossom,imagine if we'd taken Bergkamps early form for us as the best he could do and bombed him out,same with Henry,players need to get into their stride,especially strikers,thats what im saying augie

Granted but your suggestion that he should be able to play without pressure at a club of our size, is foolish regardless of his wage pack - if you want to play for a big club and challenge for trophies, and if you want to be a regular international for your country, then you sure as hell better be able to handle the pressure that comes with that responsibility. Too many of our players have been allowed to get rich and play without pressure for far too long :evil:

Transfer dealings has become an embarrassment to this great club, we need a total revamp of how we do business

Just seen a clip on Arsenal TV where that Robbie has got a couple of his regular mongs interviewing Gazidis, why does he always use the same people? Most of them are complete cringes.

Can Jenkinson play centre back? I'm assuming we won't get him like (he'll end up staying at west ham) but it seems odd that we're quite far down the road with him having agreed a loan fee and everything but are also meant to be bidding up to £8m for Byram at Leeds. Can't see both coming in (pointless having two canny right backs when we've got loads of other positions to sort) so I'm beginning to wonder if we are fancying Jenkinson ahead of Wes Brown, he's played there a bit hasn't he?

Not for Arsenal. Only at Charlton and in the youth system.

Sunderland would be a great loan for Jenkinson, with another pretty good manager and some battlehardened mentors.

Not sure he would feature above Monreal or Gibbs still for us, though that will change in the next year or two, TBH we are near to an embarrassment of left and right back options, as with midfield attacking. its the striking and CB area that needs sorting, as well as GK.

Can anyone honestly see any signatures happening this window though :oops:
